  1. I'm in the market for one of those. Probably a x40. Would love a panorama but just can't quite stretch that far.
  2. A bowl of felix (extra large) and a trough of milk should keep him occupied... I'd keep a good gun handy and a large blade on my belt though...
  3. I shot a milk bottle cap, side on, at fifty yards with a rougher up nikko mountmaster yesterday witnessed by Mawders... made easy by the 97kt .177 i was using.
  4. A small investment in a variable mag hawke sport hd and some homemade shooting sticks should pay dividends.
  5. A musket man always had a ball mould and scrap lead in his pouch. I hear you can get shotgun moulds in .22 that make 20 at a time. In a scenario that demands this sort of thing i wouldnt be fussy what shape it is, conical or ball.
  6. Any make. Need it for the SMK TH208 to replace Barrel weight. I have considered a 1/2" UNF adapter but concerned about length. Cash waiting. Thanks Chaps.
  7. Saw a Sumatra for £395 new on gunwatch. Puts out serious ft/lbs I'm told. Cant work out if i like it or not though. I think 30ftlbs is the max Hw100's put out, again only what ive read...
  8. Show us your tits! Oh...you have...niiiice.
  9. Great to see tiddly winks outdoors. Bet they loved it. Lord knows they test us, but life would be boring otherwise. Right?
  10. I had one. Loved the bolt action, mag system was excellent. Overall a good gun BUT I swapped it for a tx200 Mk3. Of the two, the Hw will be easier to sell and the better rifle for me(had one of them too!)
  11. Look forward to it featuring in some write ups Lewis! Nice one chaps.
  12. I stand corrected. One is evidently in existence. That's gotta be worth a few Bob! Collectors love them especially boxed.
  13. Possibly, but they're lighter than bisley mags at 21.4grains which people use with good results.
  14. It's not really a viable replacement of mass produced ones. But i enjoy the process and the results. I also like that i can recycle them. Need to refine and streamline my method for certain!
  15. It is awesome on a million levels! Soooo cool. I have made one observation today. The pellets were slightly heavier than usual. 18.7gr and 18.8gr, now I hypothesize that this could be down to mixing the waste and adding different brands of spent pellet. It could be my Geco pellets? a zinc ThUnderbolt? I can't be sure. Anything over 18.8gr was easily trimmed down but there is a limit until you need to change the die in order to make the pellet lighter (essentially just shorter by raising the die). Still I LOVE that I can get each and every one the same. Will make chronoing spot on! I fo
  16. It has been the one bug bear of mine. That little niggle about airgunning. The tie that keeps me reliant on the world of money and the marketplace. I speak of ammunition, its consumption and its loss. We use a lot of pellets! Accuracy demands that each pellet is near identical in shape and weight, and soft (for the rifling). Killing cleanly requires the material, after accuracy is obtained, to still pack a punch, thus a metal is deemed best. It is therefore safe to say this means a man in the woods cannot extract or find the materials from the surroundings without mining the ore (if it eve
  17. I can't shake my desire for the hatsan, though I think i'll wait for the bt65 elite. Looks superb.
  18. Thanks for the account hotshot2me. And for going to the trouble of videoing and editing. Take only that which is abundant is my motto and t'would appear that hares are round your way. As for the missed shot, lord knows I've done worse and thats with a laser ranging madjiga thing. Keep em coming and better luck next time. "Do not judge, lest ye be judged" ey guys.
  19. Superdomes were great! Superfields a tighter fit resulting in slightly reduced velocity but good overall. Jsb exacts and aa fields superb. My homemade 'tomahawks' went through this morning with good results.11 grain badboys. I'd like to see a rabbit try and limp away from one of those!
  20. retired at 25 sounds like you`ve not even started yet .... Well, semi retired. I've developed a rather expensive airgun addiction... O right i get it, dont pay mortgage/rent - so you just do wee jobs for money when you need it..Not a bad way of living that. I think so, but the roofers I've been working with say they wouldn't be able to gut a rabbit much less exist without an xbox...opened my eyes a bit. what a world eh.
