Iv got one lurcher who will be here for the rest if his life, i thought about getting another lurcher pup in but I don't think I would give it the work it would deserve as I would favour my current lurcher, I had room for another dog so I got a terrier pup for our mooches out flushing to the lurcher etc and hopefully get some rats with him which the lurcher can also assist

Iv never thought to keep a record of what my dog catches etc, good idea tho. He has caught a fair but for a young dog tho and impresses me still

I enjoy all aspects of lurcher work and I will run hares on the lamp as well as in the day, I go out to watch the dog work and put as much game infront of him as possible weather it's day or night. Tbf I'd rather run it with my dog than leave it for others as the local lads will do the same

mine the same any thing run he on it lol and he meens it but runs two hard on big bunnys wont give an inch like hes joined to it with 3 foot of fishing line next doors cat on its 8th life lol Mine get to them big bunnys pressures them for Abit then settles in behind them like he is glued

I normaly go out with a lad and it's spot on we know when to be quiet best places to get into fields etc and the dogs don't hint up on the lamp so I'm good, howevere have been out with a few tits over the years shouting there dog back with or with out a catch, a dog should come straight back weather it's caught a rabbit or not -
