    When you call the dog back crouch down to the dogs level and call him with arms open when he comes ruff him up abit, rubbing him and plating with him then send him off to play, walk a few hundred yards then try again, no need for treat and like has been said seeing the lead should be a positive things

    I was told its bred from a pure saluki out of cruise line to a benji bred dog but the lad who told me wasn't 100%, the reason I ask is if it's the same dog he is the sire to my dog put to a collie grey bitch

    Alright lads I'm trying to find out some breeding on a dog. The dog in question is a white feathed dog with sandy patches called cruise, the dog was owned by a lad in heartlepool then sold on, iv spoke to a lad who thinks it's bred outa a pure saluki from cruise line to a benji bred dog but he isn't 100%. I know there is a lot of coursing lads on here so I figure this is probs the best place to ask. Cheers jcm

    Well this young dog I'm running is now 21 month old and he's definitely showed he is worth his weight in gold, he's had a fantastic start to the season both lamping and daytime running killing a lot of stuff however he got injured and has been of for the beat part of 8 weeks so I'm on getting him back fit. Managed to get him out on some land which was flooded no wind and a full moon but I was determined to get out and get a few rabbits and I he managed to pick up 3 rabbits which was a good result to say everything was against us. All I can say is one this dog is back on the mend I will be out

    Well iv been up Scotland since Thursday and I'm kicking my self in the head because iv not brought the dog up, just driving around going to house to house to visit iv seen a lot of game and that's without looking for it, think next time I'm up I will have to bring the dog and a fist full of nets and ferrets and possibly the lamp or go for a walkand see what the Scottish hare is like compared to what I'm used to seeing back in the north east of England

    A young lad who lives in the same town as me is after his first lurcher, he already has a terrier which is now about 4 years old and he take this dog everywhere, he uses it to mark sets and a lot of bushing with it however he doesn't have a dog to make the catch. His mother is letting him get another dog and he has asked me to help find him the right dog for him. He only wants something from about 21 inches tall to about 23 Tts. He realy likes the saluki type dogs but they can be to big for his likening so I recommended a saluki whippet type, and he realy likes the idea. The lad who I'm t

    Got a saluki collie grey x beddy whippet grey as far as I'm aware all the litter apart from mi.e took to the beddy lurcher mine took more to the saluki and whippet height wise, as far as I'm aware the pups from the litter made between 23 and 25tts, mine made 21

    My little dog here, had s fair bit whippet in him and was fully grown height wise a 6 month and finished filling out at about 14 month the dog is 21 Tts
