  1. That's the thing I don't hunt that land at all I go there only to exercise the dogs, there is no other reason to it plus it gets used by horses a fair bit
  2. I walk this same walk 4-5 times s week and have done for couple year, they must have used my reg to get a name and address. i am going to email them and explain that they have no right to assume without proof and to make sure my car has not been marked as the last thing I want is getting pulled all the time. If I was to walk any other breed no one would take a second look. (Guilty until you can prove your own innocents). It's a load of bollox and I will set it straight
  3. I revived a letter in the mail today saying that my car has been spotted and they think I am associated with some sort of crime or poaching, the date and time are spot on and yes I was at said location but have they forgot its a public footpath that used to be train lines and there is a public car park where you can park like I did. This footpath gets walked by a lot of people with dogs daily but because I had two lurchers with me and a terrier with me I'm suspected of poaching or committing crime. Carnt even walk my dogs without getting accused of shit ??
  4. Rope is tryed and tested and cheep
  5. At the moment I carnt fit no more in my freezer my little 21inch lurcher has brimmed it so at moment everything I catch is going out to my mates so there happy as well

    Good Hunt Today

I'm back to work in the morning or I'd be out in the morning ?
  11. Been doing a load of lamping recently and haven't gave the terrier much graft at all, decided to get him out today with my lurcher and picked my mate up with his two beddy whippets. Well from getting out the motor to putting him back in my lakie never stopped flushing pheasants from every bit of cover. This land does not hold many rabbits at all and the dogs have to work so much harder to find s rabbit never mind catch which we got two one caught by the terrier and the other flushed from cover and moped up by my pals dog. The lurchers worked realy well today also but not a patch on dax m
  12. reminded me of one of my own! not much of a coursing dog, but he's quite handy at mugging game and vermin That's the type I'm I about, looks class ?
  13. I wouldn't say that this dog is a stocky type I'd say it was racey my dog is of similar build, I mean thicker bone bit more muscle mass heavier build
  14. Tbh I havnt seen many small stocky type lurchers one I seen was a collie bull type bout 22 tts and it could shift it was a decent rabbit dog but the owner never done the dog justice. The other I seen was a beddy bull type around 23tts and is a class act I like its style it can take a knock and has the power to come out on top in any situation but that's the only two I seen
  15. My pup I have on at the moment and also my terrier but tbh I don't have a lot of patience to start with
  16. Sat drinking a cuppa outa your flash, think I'll come work my dogs with you, tbh I don't want my dogs to hunt to far as there are a lot of roads close to where I work my dogs so it could be a disaster if I let them
  17. I was the same had a few to many glasses of whisky took the dogs for a good couple hour mooch with my mate, still got a bit of a bad head
  18. A lurcher using his nose and finding game is a must for me my dogs are used for lamping as well and does not hunt up on the lamp at all
