    Im not massively fit some days can be horrid but you push on , and have days where you walk miles and miles and see nothing but once you get one up and going it’s a real sight

    Same as everything else seen some good seen some bad , but they do go , I found the one I had hard to live with and more once on a line there gone , with the pointers I find them better on a shit day just constantly busy and looking even when the scents shit she covers the ground and has found when other dogs have moved on

    My two , ones a pure pointer and there others 1/4 pointer with collie and grey in there the pure pointer is probably one the best finding dogs Iv ever seen , had to learn to just when she’s found scent to give her time to work it out , Iv seen her turn a few on open ground which I didn’t think would happen , im tempted to put a pure pointer on the lurcher would roughly be 3/8 5/8 reverse cross just might be the ticket , something thst doesn’t quite look like a lurcher but have a little bit of pace

    My Lurcher bitch here opens up in the day but not the night ? maybe try some ferreting and let her grabbing them in the nets

    Day time for me ! Iv seen some insane runs in the day and Iv had to close my eyes a few times while there running , bolting them from cover to waiting lurchers and lamping probably equal but for the lurcher to hunt it running and kill it a hell of job

    My uncle had a whippet dog thst use to kill foxes single handed was a big dog ! And sheep chasers dog Finn would mince a fox aswell in his day both out of sooty Sam’s line I believe

    Iv 4 bitches here one being a terrier the gwps not raised a lip and the terriers a arsehole Iv got to have it peaceful Iv got a 3 year old daughter that is all dogs and I can’t have any fighting or pissing about when I’m not around

    No I just don’t think they turn heads as much if you can get them looking more to the pointer side ? where I am it’s not a issue knocking about with a lurcher or two but I think 5/10 years it could be

    I think they’re perfect for mooching about ! And definitely got plenty bottle to handle most things ! I love the gwp breeding wouldn’t be without it

    My idea is if you’re just walking about with a pointer or two you’re not gone turn heads as quick as two running dogs ! Sort of planning on putting a pure over my pointer Xmas hoping to make a faster pointer ?will be 3/4 pointer 1/4 grey roughly

    After having a complete melt down at end of the season due to being let down couple times , finally sat down and realise was a really good season for me , old bitch last day was Xmas eve had a few kills and didn’t walk for 3 days after so I finished her and she then went onto getting a infection in her uterus so had that sorted the pointer x bitch inpressed a few lads and had a stormer of a season but I need a second dog , after a lengthy conversation with old boy thst bred my pointer cross gave me a pure pointer bitch really opened my eyes !
