What tickets have you got then? I'd stick on the Railway if it was regular days, I've been on the P-Way side since 2003. Health and Safety consultants on the Railway earn insane amounts of money, it's not everything in a job but it's what we all get up in a morning for.

Tbh whenever I'm on a course I tend to shine in the classroom compared to other guys. Don't get me wrong I like hard work, I'm a grafter but can be clumsy and heavy handed and lack common sense hahaha. I'm definitely one of those guys that's better at the theory side of things, I'm like a baby elephant.

Yeah I've read it's not a case of what you know but more of how you write your answers, meant to be a pain in the arse. If passed though it opens the door to be earning mega bucks. thats is true It does seem to be a licencse to print money at anything up to £500 per day I'd be more than happy with half of that a day tbh haha.

Cheers mate, I don't have the luxury of doing any intensive courses as I still have to earn a living. To get the NEBOSH diploma I would have to study like crazy, not an easy task after 12 hours of grafting. I'll take a look at the IOSH, hopefully that could open up a few doors. Does IOSH open up job opportunities or would I need more?

Not at the minute, I've still got my PTS though. Don't get me wrong I could earn a good living on the Railway but I don't agree with nights at all, I suffer from crippling insomnia when doing that shift. I was thinking of doing the RIMINI Planner course but I've heard it's hard to find employment solely for that job. Did you fail the NEBOSH then? No RIMINI now mate its SSOW lol, don't know where you live but there are SSOW planners jobs about £250-£350 a day is the going rate, P6 planner is another option, good coin, I didn't fail the Nebosh I couldn't commit the time needed to do it so I le

I've worked in the Rail and Construction Industry all my life, doing lots of hours and plenty of weekend work grafting my arse off. I'm not getting any younger and don't fancy being a work horse all my life. Being a COSS on the railway and having the SSSTS ticket I'm pretty clued up on Health and Safety. I'm thinking of making a career change and getting into the Health and Safety side of things. NEBOSH is the qualification to have and opens up great opportunities for a great career. Has anybody on here done the Diploma or General Certificate? I've read it's extremely difficult to pass as

Taking the missus down to London for Valentines day, last minute thing like always. Planning on stopping the night near Waterloo, train tickets are expensive for a return so will be driving down. I totally agree.......unfortunately some sportsmen like to step away from what they are good at occasionally and view their opinions in other walks of life......while we,re all entitled to our views when you know they are going to be scrutinized by the watching world its probably better to keep them to yourself.....unless you think you are the second coming of Muhammad Ali of course.Tbh Ali wasn't the sharpest pencil out there and could be an arsehole at times, he was an utter prick on Parkinson one time.
