Well, for those who thought Groves was ahead at the time of the KO, I must've been watching the first fight! I thought Carl dictated the tempo, controlled the distance and was pretty much in control throughout. . Grove's best punch was jab that snapped Froch's head back. . I think that was the real Carl Froch that turned up tonight and George Groves was given a reality check. . I'd like to see Froch tick his box of fighting in Vegas and see Grove v Degale for the IBF belt that Froch vacates. . Well done chunky, proved me wrong. . Ps am I the only one who's got a crush on Carl Froch's

Bravo Carl Froch

Welcome aboard Robbo, always good to have sensible sounding folk around. ATB

I don't suppose it matters how bad the attack was, a clever attack is a clever attack!! Not all about the damage, but the intention for me. . Using a weapon like that I thank he meant business. Goes to show doesn't it, when knowing someone for years, it's not the length, it's the depth that matters. .

Interesting to see Groves come in over 2lbs under the 12st limit. . Is he proving a point that he's got no problem making the weight? Or has this massive occasion got to him?? He was outstanding in the first fight, does he feel pressured to do even better this time??

Degale won the fight hands down?!? What fight was you watching Jord!?! It was a close fight, certainly not a robbery. Groves has improved since, we don't know whether Degale has because he hasn't been in with anyone of note since, we'll see Sarurday night, I feel he's going to get out boxed and lose a unanimous decision. As for the main event, Froch is looking Calm, Cool and Collective. . Groves doesn't look convincing and I don't think he's as confident as was going into the last fight. . Saying he finished the last fight in better shape than Froch, DELUDED. Looking forward to a goo

Degale has a tough assignment, wouldn't surprise me if he gets beat. . If Groves wins I think we'll see him v Degale (should he win) if Froch wins I think he'll opt for an international fight, Kessler 3 or Ward 2

Really taken a disliking to Groves, one smug individual. . Hope he gets a reality check. . Come on Froch!

Either a good hare or in incapable dogs. . Either way, a great course!

Still got mixed feelings on this fight! I do think Groves has got more going for him, younger, fresher, faster, probably even the more conclusive puncher and I believe the fight is his to lose. . . And unfortunately I think he will, after out boxing Froch early to mid, I see him unable to maintain the focus, discipline and composure needed to finish the job, getting tagged, mid to late and fight will soon be over. . I think Froch will apply himself with more composed and controlled manner. I prefer Froch as a man, not that either of them are particularly likeable individuals! The on

Straight Collie X Saluki
*The*Field*Marshall* replied to treefella's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Can't say I've seen or heard of first cross collie x saluki. Best of luck in your quest! Wouldn't be my cup of tea, but I would be interested to see one nonetheless. -
Pups First Night On The Lamp...
*The*Field*Marshall* replied to Gaz_1989's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
tjones, there's no questioning the bitch did well, that's quite apparent! It's not the point, killing 16 rabbits this time of year is 1: the wrong time of year (in my opinion) and is not going to do the mans reputation as a "summer hunter" (by some) any good! 2: you're damaging your sport for the coming season (apparently you do recognise seasons) and 3: the bitch is too young to be given that many runs! If she has made noises previous, why would you give her that many runs on the first night?? Sharp twists and turns can lead to loss of ground and frustration, she could have opened up and -
Pups First Night On The Lamp...
*The*Field*Marshall* replied to Gaz_1989's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Listen, if this was a newbie of 2/3 posts stating that he'd caught 16 rabbits whilst out with his pup of not yet 11 months in. . What sort of reaction would he get? But we're all familiar with Gaz, he's a likeable member who posts a lot. . Late August/ September (ground permitting) wouldn't hurt a bit, what's the rush? We all know that later is better than early when it comes to pups. . -
Pups First Night On The Lamp...
*The*Field*Marshall* replied to Gaz_1989's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
All the best with the bitch Gaz, I'm sure she'll make a fine animal mate. But as for lamping this time of year, I just couldn't bring myself to turn the lamp on, just feels wrong to me. The only exception is if you've got permission where the agreement is you keep them to a minimum, to protect vegetation etc. . -
I like the glamour of Monoco, but don't enjoy the race much, not enough over taking - qualifying usual determines the winner

Are you still looking mate?

Ah I'm just jealous! :-/ haha -
Well this is THL drama at it's best! Did they or didn't they?!? Where's Columbo when you need him! Haha. . I can't comment on what's supposedly happened, I don't know the facts. . Parvo is sickener, anyone who's ever encountered it dread the word. .

Now That's A Tough Guy.................
*The*Field*Marshall* replied to Blackbriar's topic in General Talk
Only in America! Haha. . Ah we all love an action man, however, maybe he did fancy himself as a bit of "superhero" and was acting like such, we've all seen the type! . . I mean why did he feel the need to chase them unarmed after being shot?!? Crazy mo fo. . What a bunch of cowards for shooting him though! -
Whippet X Greyhounds

Like any first cross I suppose, smaller dog to the bigger bitch as stated -
Best thing you could do ? look out for a little swift or bailey. . As mentioned, look for damp, check floor, windows etc. .

Haha! What a job!! Never did fancy being a plasterer! My worst job, nothing exciting, but worked in banana packing factory for a year. . The winter was soul destroying. . I use to get there at 7 and finish at 5, went from week to week without seeing sunlight! I nearly ended up being clinically depressed! When my estranged father found out what I was doing he said "what you doing that for, a monkey could do a job like that" !!! Haha cheers dad
