    Well going by this http://www.agouti-nets.co.uk/product/41-500g-green-long-net-twine bottle green polyester makes approx 45 yards at 14 meshes so 3 of them @ 9 quid to round it off which gives ample to spare to start the next one £27 a roll of nylon for your top and bottom lines say £10 a roll of purse net twine for your selvedge £10 some postage ball park £10 and cut some hazel for you pegs for free Then need to sort your end pins £10-15 so £60-70 give or take for a 50 yard rigged net or maybe cut down and make a nice 25 yarder if funds are tight or what ever lengt

    Surprising how it mounts up if you just do a bit when ever you fancy. That was how I started my 50 yarder but then with some time off over Christmas I made some impact on it. So I then got really enthusiastic and committed to doing 2 yards a day. One before leaving for work and one in the evening. Had it finished in no time then but it did become a bit of a chore when I started that approach. Chuffed when it was done and I hung it in the shed then one night had a panic attack and thought there could be a big fat mouse gnawing his way through it so now its hung in the bed room

    I have ran around the the fields in this neck of the woods since I was 11 which is 33 years ago and I have never seen one. Until a couple of years ago I was out on my cycle on the back roads one evening. I got to the brow of a hill and I slumped over the bars getting my breath back . As I crested the hill I saw a big black cat but a hell of a lot bigger than you average cat it had pointed ears a stumpy tail.     I do one patch of land that has a cycle path running through it. People walk their dogs there even in the night. One night I had the net running along the side of the path and a young couple came round the corner of the path just as I was starting the bant. I could not make out what they were saying but could hear something. Next thing I kicked a rabbit that was squatting and it headed for home, it hit the net behind them and started squealing, the woman screamed and they both started running like hell down the path.     The good thing about netting is it can be completed in total darkness which I try to do. But some times I do use a torch to check my net so I can see if I cocked up setting the net and do better next time. It is a great feeling strolling along in the dark with a coat full of nets and a couple of rabbits and no one has a clue your there

    If you fancy a hare for pot and don't happen to own some majestic looking saluki cross whip out the gate net. Its on my to do list and in this neck of woods would require fair bit of time invested to suss what is going where. Certainly not easy

    I was thinking of planting some purple sprouting broccoli but am right in thinking it would be ready to harvest late winter ? so thats quite long time to try and keep some thing pest free. Tried some cabbages once they looked great to start then seemed a bit nibbled and with in a couple of weeks just stalks left

    I would also get a bottle of ferret formula which they love just to use now and again. Mine have a run around the yard every couple of days at least even if its only a few minutes and they run to me when I call them now. All 3 I can just to let them nibble my hand in play good as gold. Makes ferreting much more enjoyable too no skulking or messing about

    Get close and or get in between the rabbit and home so dog has plenty of time to see it running towards you

    The bulk of the people who are going to view one of them groups are either hunters or anti's so people who all ready have an opinion any way. Then a handful of people just having a nose and don't have an opinion on it and are not fussed one way or the other at least not enough to make the effort of voting for any thing. Also there first impression on the group are they will most likely think they are just nuts. All these people are doing are trying to make them selves feel good and giving them selves a little power trip in there own eyes when really they just look sad and stupid. It is offens

    What ?? the HW must have been buggerd then Seriously,, most on here know I`m harsh on them, but for good reason,, they are pish. But really,, in no way would any be better than a HW77,, the worlds finest FT springer. They do the job and easy to tweak and don't break the bank. My main gripe with the hw77 was the weight maybe I need to do more press ups but it really put me off it
