    Yea that sounds about right walked miles out all day. Get home starving and dying of thirst and polish off two plates of grans stew in record time. Drank water out of a cattle trough one day was so thirsty not the best idea was sick as a dog for few days

    Had moses as a kid and my cousin had tess we grew up together and they taught me loads. Pictures have been up before but I like them moses and tess Nice to look back at old pictures. Good old days when I could walk along the road with a snared fox over me shoulder and no one bat an eye lid

    Thats good then mine was good ferreting and would stick at fox so you never new how the day was going to end up which could be a pain some days. Yours is just going to get better and better at ferreting with experience. Loads of sport ahead for you

Spread some manure about today as well i'v put some pepper seeds in a tray to get them going, who knows, trying some sweetcorn this year Have a sweet spud on the window sill trying to get some slips (from aldi).     Wish I had stuck at it I was heading for my own shoot in north wales but I couldn't tear my self away from the grandmothers cooking all ways put my belly first Long hours and little money and a right old slog some days.     Yea I like it good little work horse. Sat in the shed at the mo with studded snow tyres on while I commute on another one. To be honest would be better off sitting it on a raft with the weather we have had

    I use mine to get to work and the allotment. I don't jump lights and ride as sensible as I can. Some times in tight spots you have to pull out and ride defensive so some prat in a car doesn't try and squeeze through when he shouldn't. I never have any issues though and get out the way when i can so as not to hold people up when there is no need. oh and I wear wellies and a wooly hat fashion never was my thing just ask the wife

    Have a good summer of handling them in and out of tubes then next season should see a difference

    My two were like that I did the same as dogmad plenty of handling in the yard picking up all angles also give them a drop of the ferret oil stuff as well so they actually like being picked up.

    The one I had in my profile picture was a tiny thing. Wonderful temperament absolute pleasure to be around and a great worker. 21 rabbits on her own one night which was good for this neck of the woods and her size. She slept on the foot of the bed that night. If my next dog is like her I would be one happy chap
