Ive got a as new 4 gun shotgun cabinet. II dont think you would get many scoped air rifles in it as its not deep but you would get at least one in it. cost me £133.00 but its up for sale for £.00. I am only in Telford so its not too far to travel.

The Thunderbolt pellets work extremely well in unchoked barrels Acuspell talks a lot of sense about his observation of them. my mate has a shortened .22 AA classic barrel on his AA carbine and it knocks rabbits down easilly up to 40 yards away, interestingly he claims he only has to allow 1" holdover at rabbits at 50yards because of the very flat trajectory. I think they sound like hard work in a choked barrel dont think ide bother with them myself.

You should have said I offered to strip the leaking AA400 fit whatever seal was leaking and set it up to 11 plus foot pounds output while he waited for £20.00. Dunno what other members think but thats under half what your local gunshop would charge! Sigh, Wish I hadnt tried to help now.

I dont really want to get involved in slagging off people on here but Busters first response to the member asking for help was to send him a pm presumably trying to sell him a full seal set! Instead of offering him advice how to check out from where his rifle was leaking. other members and myself took the time to give tips to trace the leak!. If the filling valve was at fault then it would have to be stripped anyway and would be checked out for water ingress into the cylinder and dealt with accordingly.Busters next postings attacked the rest of us trying to help the chap with the problem which

Thats a sure fire way to get water / moisture unside the rifle . I would`nt do that , thats for sure . No?. then get yourself off down to NSP Engineering the makers of Air Arms and see how the professionals do it. no doubt you would use thin oil or parafin and hope it wouldnt explode on its next fill.
-
There is only three places it can be leaking from, the firing valve, the filling valve or from the pressure gauge. As Rossie has advised a ballon taped to the muzzle will show if its the firing valve. or for a quicker diagnosis fill it . then put a bubble of oil on the muzzle and see if it holds? if its ok then dip the filling valve into a bowl of water! no bubbles? then pour a small amount of oil around the pressure valve mounting. Cheers Tron.

I dont know the guy but I can understand his frustration if he is innocent, unfortunatly sites are full of members who like to get involved with slagging off other members, some just for the banter and some to sympathise comments made by agrieved chaps who think what they have heard said must be true? I see mr Grahem has made several hundred posts om another forum without nout being said then Boom he was banned! good old british justice eh, chaps. As he has said, untill somebody can prove he has done wrong Then please, put up or shut up. who said you are innocent untill proven guilty??

Dont know about Shrewsbury bud but there is a chap called Stuart on the outside stalls at Wellington market who runs A cutain and habadashry stall who charges up to 235 bar bottles for £3.00 Only problem is you have to leave your bottle with him then pick it up next day to get my 300 bar bottle filled I have to drive to Stourbridge Dive shop who fill while you wait but they charge £5.00! that and the petrol means it costs me about £12.00 to fill it which is very, expensive!.

Yes I have used Tasco, Rhino, panasonic, Niko Sterling, scopes from the 1960,s in those days they were made in Japan and was excellent. I believe most of the above brands are made now in China. Funnily enough I have a Niko Stirling on a R10 a 3X9X40 and its identical both visually and measurement to the faulty Tasco. The people who sold me the faulty Tasco are playing silly buggers with their E mail replies.

Yes, very popular, and you dont see many for sale!. the MK1 was blighted with poor magazines but most now have MK2 mags which cures the problem and they have regulators fitted with a claimed shot count of 150 plus in .177!
