    i have see video's of the martens in the wild an they seem to be pretty amazing animals, how do they catch a hare tho, do they chase/track them down like a stoat would a bunny, or would they take them by surprise cant imagine a marten running down a hare, but there again id a never thought a stoat would have tracked a bunny till it caught it

    I think Lab was saying it COSTS the shoot £3-4 per LIVE poult. A game deasler will only PAY about 25p per bird, but SELL them for about £6 Cheers. my bad, i read it wrong, i always thought they were worthless, i get a good few off the local shoot for nowt, i use them to feed the ferrets lol, but if the were worth more than a bunny, i think id be out raiding labs sheds, i know when he sleeps anyways, cos he dont answer me txts

    i heard about a member on this site that used to be a mod, was told he lamped a rock an his dog lost most its teeth on the strike, an he will openly admit that he dont need a break stick not surprised if his dog got no teeth

    i should imagine, with all the hoops next to each other an the nets thrown into each other, be no more cumbersome than purse nets, but they only realy good for a straight forward hole imo, so a purse net is a better option

    aye mate its about 3ft long at a guess, i only seen it that once, bit like a net sock on a wire hoop, we tried similar thing as kids with rats using tights an the rims off tin cans never caught any tho :laugh:as i said just use an old fishing keep net keep nets are massive, could catch bolting foxes in a keep net ffs

    i have just told my 5 year old lad im having difficultys explaining this to you folks, he was there on the day in question, an he says its the same as his fishing net, but with a longer net an no handle an you just peg it over the hole

    just seen you asked about the net aswell as the join in the hoop an the net was just a net, remebled a small basketball net, but with net tied like a sock at the bottom

    How do you attach the two ends of the fence wire? And what do you use for the net? the one we had out for a day that junior brought out, had a split in the wire mate, an a wee placcy end peice on each end, they slotted together to make the hoop, if that makes sense, im sure junior could sort a pic out, if he could be arsed
