    most ferrets will get bunnys in a stop end for a number of reasons, tho some ferrets will stay with that bunnys an those are the bunnys you dig out

    I would'nt know my friend, I just sit down at my computer on my fat ass and have an opinion on everything I've never done myself. There are Saluki's that did relish them, not that I know of course.... First off, we aint friends.........Secondly, looky here dick beater, its hard enough to get dogs bred to catch and kill to do it consistently let alone dogs bred primarily for hare and some tiny ass gazelle thing. I seen videos of them dog gone saluki where they run them gazelle for like 5 minutes friggin straight. That shit is unbelievable. I am in awe at their speed and endurance.

    im out ferreting most days at this time of year, i aint come across any myxi since the start of october but there is still loads a fleas about, so i guess myxi will still be doing the damage in some places, we had loads of bunnys bounce back after myxi over the past few years aswell, so that a bonus, not seen any babys as of yet

    well whin i knew my dogs were doing the buisness localy, so i asked about an sorted a few invites way decent dog men an got my dogs out doing same job as them, my dogs kept up way most dogs, but there was a couple a guys that had better, much better, i have travelled a fair bit an had a good few other guys at mine these last feww seasons, just to compare the dogs, an like i say in my eyes i have found the guys an lines i want to have in my kennel an try next, so i wont be breeding anytime in the forseeable future

    i think theres too much kennel blindness an sentimentatilty in the lurcher world, far too many folk breed off there ole bitch to keep a pup back, when in all honesty they could probs buy/get a pup in, il only ever breed a litter if i can honestly say to myself that i couldnt source a better bred pup or a pup out of better workers, an to date i know of dogs better than mine, so ill source my pups from the best i can find, even tho my dogs do what i want, i know there are better out there

    whippets are excellent catch dogs for foxes but to ask a whippet to to do it solo is just being unreasonable, especially if you plan on doing it with any regularity, get the proper tool for the job you wanna do, simples........

    its a lot easier with a marking dog, im quite lucky an have 3 dogs that mark, tho the wee red lakeland in the pic is by far the best i seen, she was brought today incase the whippet failed, but it done its job well
