  1. I think your missus really, really needs a top scope to go on the gun. It's just that she doesn't know it yet.
  2. Hi mate only time mine didn't pierce a bulb was if the cap didn't tighten up enough. they are designed to puncture and use both bulbs, otherwise they would be like the rabbit stopper which only uses one.
  3. Well it Failed or passed depending on how you view it. Anyway the dogs were happy and so was I.
  4. Just finished a zeroing session in the garden and guess what popped into my yew tree to test it out. Dumb ass bird had been sitting on my chimney watching me, and then thought it was safe. WRONG.
  5. Good shooting mate, bet you spend the rest of your time in a corner stroking your rifle, I know I would if it was mine, nice looking piece of kit.
  6. T10 for me. Had one and it once and it didn't miss a beat. Hammer forged free floating barrel, ten shots. tac stock.
  7. He looks the biz mate. Not long before it'll be a bit busier for him.
  8. Just a bit hit and miss at this time of year mate,
  9. Good shooting mate, saves the fat feck going to weight watchers.
  10. Nice one mate, looks like the guns shaping up nicely.
  11. Going to yoga tomorrow, need to be flexible to be able to get my head between my legs to kiss my arse good bye.
  12. Yes the hw would look a bit out of place on a bull barrel.
  13. Why just them two mate. Always used the weirauch. Tried the twink which was good and a few others but the weirauch always seemed to have the edge.
  14. Just watched the news, and every time I hear the RSPCARSEHOLES response to this I think they should stick the dumbass who said it in a room with the parents, and relatives and let her explain how their 4 week old baby scared the crap out of the poor fox. The fox would have had to pick up the baby to get it out of the cot, and by the sounds of it the poor frightened animal was about to chow down on the babies arm. 15. Sort of works where I am but found that different warrens seem to have different habits.
  16. Cheers mate. to be fair it's never an effort, but going away for a week and needed to get a shoot before I go.
  17. Yes mate speed paunched it. Love doing it, nearly as satisfying as popping a zit.
  18. Nothing coming up on mine either. Been like this for a few days.
  19. Woke up at 4 this morning, looked out of the window to see a light drizzle and thought what the hell. Got to my permission and was happy to see some activity, looks like the bunnies didn't mind the rain after all. Bagged one and the others legged it, couldn't be bothered to hang around so had a mooch round a small wood. Shot two woodies but one dropped into the gorse bush from hell. The crow was just waking up so I put him back to sleep. Over all a bloody good few hours. Beats early morning T.V. Down side to all this is, I have recently got hold of a .177 R10 and now been fully converted ( or
  20. mike92 you might want to patent that excuse before we all steal it.
  21. Think it might be human error mate. Used these pellets in the past and they have always done the job. As Mole say's check your set up. Probably best to shoot a few paper targets to get used to the new way the pellets act.
  22. Trouble is with the foxes round our way is that because they are so well fed they are getting bigger with each generation. Soon be as big as feckin' horses. The drunks outside the local chippy feed them so you can see them round there on a regular basis.
