    yes i have calls this time of year is ok wi cubs but this vixen has been around since last back end and would not show any interest in our calls as for dog food theres a few bagers about so they will prob woof the food up 1st ,we ve had most success in traps with feathered bait not rabbits as rabbits are like hens teeth around here,the clock seems a good idea like but its not every day it turns up so we'll just have to register the time each day thanks lads good tips by the way the lad thinks he's heard cubs so the trap will be busy soon a guess/hopefully

    a mate of a mate is having a nightmare with a fox poss two,he has two traps set in his paddocks where his chickens are going missing , its not every day but its through the daytime as he locks them up on a night , ive suggested a stink pit close or easy access without spooking the fox as there is walling around his paddock,ive not spoke to the bloke about a pit or snares but have you any other tips or ideas to get it in range on a regular basis? as he only has a shotgun . ps ive offered my services with the 243 and 17 but like i say its not every day it visits , also got nv so a stake out m

    today started with dropping my daughter off at grand mas and had the drive to weed and scrape and dogs to walk but after that decided to inspect one old cover crop (poachers leave it ) and 3 new crops, just because ive been to busy to help out on working days on the shoot , so off i trot with .243 thinking half 1 nowt about but just incase ,1st crop last years doing well and saw movement so got rifle up to look at it and its a buck ,so walked 30 yrds under the height of the crop and crawled through the thick and hey presto cross hairs on a clean buck and a lovely summer coat but the buck had

    i would nt go that far as they are really really spooky to th point like i said got sick of one shot days and sat there for nothing so got pissed off totally and gave it up ,shame really as i loved the shooting as all the shots tend to be different and testing

    with the farmers finished fertilising and all this god damn rain the crop has shot to heights ive not seen for 10 yrs plus, the barley ears are filling up nicely so it wont be long before the weight of the heads and the rain falls we may be in for some red letter days ive not shot pigeons for couple of years as everyone is at it and they are wise as they come does anyone else have that problem and whats your tactics to over come flighty birds ? or isnt they one thanks for any info regards gibbo
