    I've fed mine Skinners maintenance for a few years now along with lamb ribs the dogs do all right on it , I know a few lads that feed there dogs dried food and pay no more than £7 abag and there dogs look and work no differently to mine ?

    Anyone know where I can buy fresh chicken / turkey necks in the sunderland area ive tried local butchers with no joy .

    a couple of pips then rattle his food bowl at meal times then watch him come running !!! in a short time he associates two pips with something good then before you no it hes mastered the recall whistle.

    a small wood pallet with a rubber mat on ; dogs are always warm when i let them out in the morning , tried the carpet always seems wet , shavings went all over the yard , dog beds just got chewed, what i do if the dogs come back wet i have dog coats for them sounds soft ! but works , and good food

    this is just for future reference , does anyone know of any vets in the durham, newcastle area willing to dock a litter of working spaniels with all the correct paper work ? thanks ed.

    does any body know of any estates /shoots that shoot walked up grouse either in england or scottish borders ? this would be for beating i,ve been to a few driven days but would like to try this just to say i,ve done it, thanks for looking.

    is there a good bond between you and the pup ? using your rabbit skin or training dummy, gently tease the pup with it then throw it out no more than 10 foot by this time the pup is focused on the dummy/skin once its picked then encourage the pup with its name and walk away from it if it starts to play around, in the pups mind your more important than the rabbit skin, if it leaves the skin and comes back to you this is ok , just keep on with this and in time the penny will drop.
