I think maybe it,s a generation thing , too many nowadays equate hunting with lamping , catching big numbers , having super dogs .
They don,t have the hour at dawn and dusk experience , the patience that working with ferrets teachs you , they have no idea about the habits of thier quarry , they don,t recognise trees or crops they pass every day . in short , they just don,t get how wonderful it is to be out with a dog in surroundings you understand and appreciate .
