  1. I would love to have action photos of my dogs like that well done
  2. had one of them for 17 years best dog ive owned maybe not the x that made it so good but the time i put in to it , i used him purely for lamping , on the good side when he was on the ball he was untouchable on rabbits and hares by any of the dogs i saw in his day, on the down side he was hot and cold on fox although that was prob my fault given him too many single handed early on in life and got bitten up bad
  3. Not seen a lot of toe in/toe out in lurchers but seen a lot of it in pedigree dogs ruined by breeders more interested in money than breeding the best !
  4. i have a 5 month pup the now and hes been out ferreting for a few months now ,seeing the ferrets and rabbits and watching whats going on but no chasing , just be carefull with rabbits that slip the nets

  15. never known a dog catch anything from a fox maybe mange , if you think she is keen enough run her on her own but doubled up helps loads for the first few
  16. braking them to ferrets is easy when they are young but when older a lot harder and dangerous if your the ferret !
  17. Thats what i thought when we're out and about he's fine with livestock, well sheep and cows anyway hav'nt come across a chicken with him yet what about ferrets has he seen them , do you plan to do any ferreting with him ?
  18. Really, at just under 6months? (22weeks) i was under the impression he shouldnt be taking anything yet, just watching? i would imagine by stock he means sheep cattle chickens breaking him to them , at 22 weeks he is far to young to be chasing anything
  19. a mate of mine had one years ago a big easy going dog he ran it day and night and it was very decent on everything except fox but that was in the days when not many people hunted fox with dogs about where i live
