    a good whippet x terrier is a serious little dog to have amongst any pack ,going by the 1 I owned many moons ago they certainly stand out from the crowd , to this day I am yet to own a dog that could come any where near the catch rate this little thing done ATB TONY

    had a first cross whippet terrier ,could catch no problem making across a field ,was my first dog when I was a kid ,paid 5 pound out the exchange and mart ,picked her up at 8 weeks old showed her a mouse lol the same day ,snatched it out me mates hand and swallowed it ,never looked back from that day on

    I don't reckon it makes any dffrence apart from at the start of season when there is plenty and as green as the grass ,the dogs make easy work of it ,by December not so easy ,same as hares big difference they wont give the dog fair law that time of year there away ATB tony

    if I breed to keep a pup back ,I would hold 2 back anyways .Then by 6 months of age ,you will no what 1 to keep ,plenty of time 2 choose in saying that, still be a hard choice,as this type of cross are early starters and love to work very easy to bring on and a pleasure 2 own ATB Tony

    I always trust me dogs if thet go into cover its game on ,doesent matter how thick the cover is ,there in ,I wouldn't incourage a dog to run through somethink either the dogs no best
