    very good thread and some good theories and suggestions... weasel i liked your one about the deer lol.. ....now not a big hound man at all infact only ever worked with what you would call local boys packs consisting mostly of springer hound cross types....but surely if its the big mounted packs in england wales ireland ....when all hounds are kennelled surely as been said before every hound will have its own ondividual scent....then after a hard days graft of drawing fox and they all stink of fox they obviously still must be able to tell in the kennell who is who with even the scent of fox...

    lol...well since i was there within the hour and sorted the job right ... quick smart...it was a quick run back to the yard on a quad..... in and chat to them for 10 mins as they took care of more ewes i washed the dog a bit of oul farmyard chat....he never seen it done but enjoyed it... said he has three more brothers with three other farms near by and am more than welcome back to give them places a run...plus a variety of vetinary stuff if i want....so ciarannmac.... as the topic says....PATIENCE ..lol :thumbs:

    tried this farmer a few times...... naw nooo good stcok in the field.... have boys that do it..ok no sweat usual sure if you have any bother give me a buzzz....this being going on a few months never heard nothing.... phone rings ...he had been lambing this last 2 days had a lamb took...today at 1pm during the day..his usual men working rings me i go up sort it out ... 5 entrances so i net them up no need ...unexpected so battery went low on cam.. a pic or two... by the way this fox a vixen had killed a lamb at 1 o clock today :yes: .. .. http://i1246.photobu...dman13/L017.jpg.....

    well was just out messing today with two lads off here today walking dogs talking shite as you do.... big lad in the car gets a fone call....here a bit off... oh aye.... [bANNED TEXT] no bother give us ten mins.... ..... farmer had been getting lambs took and seen the culprit heading for home with a belly full.... head over... quick where is it lol.... up the field collar on the russell dog in and on... check him 1.6m...M M M...tasty....give him a while make sure alls well check again....steady as same place ..... easy digging wee bit stony.... farmer first time at a dispatch... terrier lifte

    well lad i see by your posts your doing a bit and can get the quarry..... so if you think shes ready and you have 1 in mind and a farmer gives you a call...well sure ill just wait for your pics lol .. like a man that tells tha truth.. I have had a few digs with her and she has taken a few hammerings but i dug her last week and bearly a mark on her,could be she is getting clever or she is slacking a bit but she is only coming 2 now so she is worth feeding so far of course worth the feeding...every dig and quarry is different....if every 1 was the same and every dog worked in the same style.
