    exactly if you didnt want to go to meetings then so be it but it would be a number of people in a federation for terrier work not a scrap club or a my terriers better than that boys... would be a voice for a whole federation of ireland to justify to these people just how many people in ireland that work there dogs to a very high standard within the current law... not just a bunch of random people running around in jeeps or vans or cars just looking to kill... after all if i didnt like joe soap but he hunted terriers and i hunted terriers... would it not be bigger of me and joe soap to stand

    exactly milkimen i have a wee hound bitch here at 6 months goes everywhere way me and the terriers and have just let her come on in here own.. hounds generally dont need much breaking too stock if shown them very young... ok granted they will run up and take a little sniff but never a bite or anything and after 2-3 of the meetings i find they know very quickly what they are.... my hound pup is hunting like a mad thing although she just doesnt know exactly its just fox she meant too hunt but thats just because she hasnt seen enough of them yet...... she very obedient comes back to her yips lol

    an area representitive would be the man who also could put you in contact with members close to you as well for all different things.... any members are equals as it would be a club solely for the benefit of working dogs and not the egos of mebers plus everyone who is a member would have there oppertunity to voice there opinions at any meeting... the chairman of the club would be just more a diplomatic figure for like debates and votes on the club and the directions it would take and if any legislations are about to go through soon again so i would way rather have a representitive of a working

    lol i hear ya about the ego thing son of but any area rep wouldnt be an easy job i would think with the amout of people who hunt plus it wouldnt be a paying job so has no great prospects only you get to help fellow terriermen who could need assistance...as for standards of dogs well you would only mix with people from the club who you would consider to keep the dogs to your standard... and at the end of the day if someone keeps a standard thats suits them who are we or anybody else to say whats what at the end of the day i wont be feeding it so not really my concern... but as far as keeping th

    for the irish lads on here..... if fell and moorland was going to think about starting up a rep for northern ireland again would yous join lads??? or if even if an irish working terrier club was to be started up would yous join.... the club would be for genuine working men and women and there dogs... terrier men/women could have contacts for like rescues and legal advice should the need arise .... be able to keep the genuine breeds like the russells the lakelands patterdales borders all get kept to do what they were bred to do... where men could meet other men with the same breeds with the

    went out saturaday me and 2 mates.... done a bit of a small forestry had a sweat in 1 of the burrows but 2 mins later dog showed the fek thought we were in lol ... went to a farmers who owns a wee small shoot but has three good glens around his land... 2 glens have some decent handy burrows and one has bout four middlin burrows ranging from 5-6 foot and rangey then there is a few nightmares.... mate was in the glen with his wee dog on the lead because it head strong and dont listen much and wont listen at all if on a line lol.... anyways tried the couple of the ok holes and was coming over

    the hunting bill was dejected.... but law here is very similar to england scot wales where the rspca and the uspca are concerned... so same rules apply here really...only 1 terrier used to ground at any 1 time....welll thats a must... only nets to be placed at holes .... lurchers aint allowed to kill in a stop end but are when they are on the run.. written permission at all times and the vehicle that your going out in must be taxed and insured lol ...other than that WORK AWAY ..atb

    kid if you have seen a fox get dug [bANNED TEXT] rats are childs play..... not being funny but if rats and mink are your quarry dont need to get one just yet your terrier looks way too leggy to get too any depth at rats and mink....get yourself out kid have a mooch about and have fun and if you like then buy a locator they aint cheap to be buying for that kinda quarry but most important have fun ....

    there bred from a wee man in ireland mudcat .... no big fancy name ... that was that wee russells 8th dig at 16 months just waiting on there ma who is 8 now to come off heat and hopefully getting her down for a month or 2..... 3 out of the 5 pups love foxes and the other 2 just havent been shown anything yet but i dont own them..... that was the old bitches first litter..... and would have had even better pics the dealer only my battery went dead on the camera the b....ard..... could of got a couple of belters of the hound running on at it after it was let out to run .... was a goood size

    was off work this last 2 days and took things easy yesterday... got up this morning done the yard and was fcuking about in the shed sorting out tools was finished for bout 11.30..... was a good day for a fox with all the rain down here last night .. so the van needed diesel i said id go and get it over the border so phoned a mate who was lying on the sofa watching jeremy kyle the youth of today lol... now this young guy dont hunt so i said i was going to get diesel and that i was going to take the 2 russell pups and the hound pup a dander after i got diesel if he wanted to come.... get

    went to visit a mate today..... had a good day first couple of burrows tried were gettin well used but no foxes at home then went to try other spot took my russell dog 16 months old with me and mates lurcher.... knew soon as i got over the stone wall we were in wee dog dragged me too the hole... lead off and 2 mins later heard him speak..... so netted up 4 eyes and and gave him ten mins.... still in same spot so quick call on the cbs to tell the 2 other men in the car to bring the tools... waited bout 10-15 mins to the men with the tools arrived checked him again on box and same spot 1.4 han
