  6. By all means, casserole or stew the rest, but save the loins for best!
  7. I suspect I may be one of the many who has 'branded' (or more accurately, bandied) the term dedicated fox rifle around. For me personally, such a rifle would be used predominantly for fox, but not necessarily for that purpose exclusively.
  8. Hi guys. I need a sure fire appeal to all pigeon pie recipe. Has anyone got a winner?

  12. I'd only put a shooting clip on youtube if I was one-holing or cloverleafing at best. Beyond that, who's going to be impressed?
  13. Well, no. He is being given food by the pack leader, not taking it from him without permission. If you decided he couldn't take food from you when he was in your space, there wouldn't be a problem would there? It really isn't a big deal. The pack leader is the empowerer as well as the authority. Lets not misconceive this as some kind of macho 'I'm the head honcho' bravado. It's just a natural part of being a pack leader. No-ones saying you need to rule dogs with an iron fist and brutality, just that the dog(s) need to know where they stand in the pecking order to feel content. I don't see t

  15. Thanks Gary, I do appreciate your concern. The permissions I've gained are through being in the game a while, persisting and knowing how to approach people...and an element of luck of course I reckon a good policy to adopt with crap jokes/humour/digs is to ignore it unless it makes you laugh. Christ knows theres enough shite jokes on THL. TBH, I'm probably a bit far away from you, but If you end uo down in N Bucks, let me know
  16. I love my hw60's 14 inch barrels. They lose nothing in the accuracy stakes and shooting from a vehicle is a cinch.
  17. spot on, people forget there are dogs (not) people treet them as such . Totally agree - treat dogs like dogs. In a wild dog pack, the leader can take food from underlings without quarrel.
  18. Because normally they only get a 12" group? I would only post it if I thought I was getting very good results.
  19. Might be a bad ammo/rig combo or poor cleaning regime? Or they might not be brilliant riflemen?

Good luck getting through the gap it it hits properly!
  21. .22 for rabbits and .223 for a dedicated fox rifle. IMHO they are two different disciplines and need to be treated as such. .22lr is perfect for rabbits but a stretch for fox. If you are doing 1 or 2 foxes a year, .22lr will do it but its not ideal. More whack than .22lr is more humane for the red buggers.
