  1. Be careful re the Anschutz, I have heard their semi autos are rubbish - this is coming from the owner of a Annie 1517! The 10/22 is very popular for a reason and also easily customized. Either way it won't be as accurate as a bolt action
  2. Er herm.......... Nice example of CODIT Moxy
  3. Not sure, pretty good for the size though
  4. That's it really Lots about and scratting in the bunkers too
  5. Hi Stu, great shooting as usual. There must be lots of rabbits about near you? I have a Seben mount. They are ok in a static position but you can't walk around with them. They could really do with a small foot too, so that you can support the unit with camera on the stock rather than have it floating off the scope. This would stop the crosshair 'floating' issues I have with mine. I ended up purchasing a bike camera mount off amazon for around £5. I prefer the footage from this rather than looking at a crosshair because you can zoom out and give the viewer some distance perspective. You
  6. Hi Craig, neither. I made a sqeaking noise just off the back of my hand
  7. They all seem pretty good so no need to spend a fortune. That said, I picked up a second hand Annie for £500 and I've been happy with the performance Takes no prisoners
  8. Only ever use the .17 HMR because that's all I've got.. does the business though. I suppose range estimation isn't as important with the HMR
  9. The same happened to me and I has rounds that were duffs. I returned them to the shop and was given a replacement batch. Funnily enough it was the first time I'd tried the blue tipped variants of the Hornady's. The shop mentioned that they may be 'old stock.' Apparently there's no difference between the blue and red tips but apparently the blue tips were originally designed for the HMR Mach2
  10. Nice going, it certainly says something when you need a quad to haul your game back! Looks like a couple of hares there too?
  11. Awesome Daz, I must admit I think the TTR is my favorite PCP. I'd love one in FAC .25
  12. I'd go for a little Nikon 3-9x40 next time
  13. Awesome shooting Stuart, are you selling them as well as getting paid to control them?
  14. From a 100 yd zero with a 90 degree wind at 10mph it would be around 6.5 inches (or 4.9MOA) at 130 yards
  15. To be fair bushing lad there wasn't much of a head left to ache! I was in two minds whether to upload the pics but thought it would show the effectiveness of the calibre
  16. Good to have someone like you on a THL Steve, you're a great representative for our sport I wish you all the luck on your new DVD pal
  17. Nipped onto the golf course again this morning with the HMR. Got on earlier this week and bagged three. Today's session ended in five, three of which were shot one after the other ranging between 90 and 130 yards. It was a little windy, around 20mph but no trouble for the HMR at these ranges. You may be able to see two of the rabbits in this picture The three that were shot one after the other
