  1. Love the gun Daz, what did you pay for it, it looks mint condition. Lovely stock too
  2. Cheers lads. My current bag leaks and stains all my clothes with blood so I'm after one that doesn't! Preferably with a removable lining too for ease of cleaning and QD clips to make opening easier in the dark How you getting on with the Shakespear bag Archie?
  3. I need a new one, what do you chaps use? Quite liking the look of the Shakespeare Odyssey
  4. Great work! How far are you hoping it will reach?
  5. Rapid'o no doubt, it's the one most people seem to have in FAC format
  6. Why, he's one of the best contributors?
  7. Love the Rapids, I think if I was to get another PCP it would be one of these at around 30 ft/lb
  8. 11 Golf Courses Stu! Nice going pal, only something most of us could wish for! Zini or Davy will no doubt reply to your post re the recording devices for the NS
  9. No took him at yards with the hummer, its too easy and I'm getting lazy Back out tonight with the new lamp
  10. Nipped out this morning, just the one rabbit bagged but saw four or five in one particular spot. Going to be easier when the Maize is cut for sure
  11. Good feeling eh? Nice to have new ground to walk over
  12. Just got a new perm chaps, 250-ish acres of mainly grazing land with a couple of maize fields. The best bit of it all is the farm is behind my garden wall I moved in 12 months ago and have been desperate to speak to the farmer but thought it would be best to let things settle for a while. I popped round last night and he signed all my papers and denoted the boundary on a map. So what is there? As far as I can tell everything from Wood pigeon, Collard doves, Crows, Jackdaws (literally 100's of those), rabbits.. you name it. The farm has lots of outbuildings and a milking parlor where the Ja
  13. Nice one Moley, I hope you got a good deal So, what's it going to be; all done by yourself or are you paying the likes of Colin Molloy, SFS to bring back to it's former glory? Edited: Just noted that was my 1,001 post - yay for me!
  14. Skot, that is a thing of beauty! Love the new style stock, honestly mate I think it looks amazing. I think the '77's look great, possibly better than the '97. They're just different. If the spring inside isn't too bad I'd be tempted to just shoot it and let it bed in before thinking about tuning it Didn't sound too bad on the camera, I wonder if it didn't quite pick up the noise properly? Here's a picture of mine that I took the other day. 28 years old and still going strong. This rifle will never be sold, far too much sentimental value!
  15. You just don't need any more than that Si. Fancy lending it to me for a week?!
  16. Yep and i'm even more impressed with the Damage a .25 at 25.4 gr does How anout your Italian friend Mr Benelli Daz, he's a bit of a brute isn't he? I know my German pal Mr Anschutz doesn't take any prisioners!
  17. Excellent footage again there Si and Davy. That spotter will really come into it's own on the rabbits and foxes, especially where they may have become lamp shy
  18. So did mine Skot when I tried them. However in .177 lots of people seem to have great results
  19. You should get much better groups than that with the HW100. Si Pittaway had great results with RWS Superfield pellets if memory serves. Falcon Accuracy Plus are a good pellet too
  20. Yes it has been a great year. I notice you're a member lf MRPC, unfortnately I didn't renew my membership this year due to lack of funds. It's a bit of a trek for me too for the 25m of indoor range where I can only use my air rifle. A great place to get zero'd up though and if you're into .22LR target shooting it's bob on. Good people and a nice friendly atmosphere Yes, indeed! Well, if you ever want to shoot there again you can come as my guest. I think I can bring a guest as many times as I want free of charge,l so let me know and I will be happy to accommodate. I do shoot a .22lr there
