    The hawk was back out again tonight and then the rain came down,the rain dose not bother me but that hawk pisses me off nothing around and i had for got my lamps so i blanked tonight o well there is all ways Saturday as that is when im taking little hunter now atvbmac :thumbs:

    Cheers, Astral. I kinda hoped there would be a few newbies who might enjoy that. The ammount of stuff I didn't know was 10x that of the stuff I "thought" I knew. Some of the posts on here are aimed at seasoned hunters, and I can get a bit lost. This one is for the greener hunters among us . Mind if Bigmac told me once to "learn to walk lightly" he told me 100 times.....I'm 6'1" and 16 stone, I don't do ANYTHING lightly haha. You will LEARN TO WALK LIGHTLY or you will not get eny where near them it will come to you all of a sudden im back out to night mate to get the ones i misse

    Go with the springer mate the pcp will cost a lot more im not saying that you will not get one for that price but by the time you have got every thing you need to go with the pcp it will have cost you close to £500 and there is nothing better than picking up your gun putting the pellets in your pocket and out the door you go and a springer will do that for you every time and will never run out of air just look at the hw range you may pick up an older rifle for that kind of money and you can not go wrong with eny hw hope this helps atvbmac :thumbs:

    He wouldn't let me shoot the deer, or the sheep, or even the cows....I might have had more of a chance hitting those.... Haha he was scared because he had to carry them back lolHe's only used to them bunnies haha The deer would of been ok to carry but the cow,and i had left the chain saw at home atvbmac :thumbs:

    This happened to me and daz39 to night mole two lovely head shots rabbits go down but no rabbits when you go to retrieve them :blink: you hear the whack you see them fall but nothing to pick up we even looked for them but nothing :hmm: good shooting eny way bud nice size to atvbmac :thumbs:

    Well lads me and vislauk met daz39 at our local shooting range through the week and got taking to him we found out that he had not been hunting ever and that he had put up a post for some one to go with and that he was willing to leve his rifle at home .All he wanted to do was learn but no one had offered to take him out so me and vislauk promptly said you can come with us and a night was set.Well lads to night was that night but we told him he could not come unless he fetched his rifle along as you can not learn unless your going to shoot i told him the do,s and donts and a few more things as

    Nice shooting si iv done this my self with the crow sport but iv not put it up on here as iv got a short temper and all the ridicule i would probably get .I know that this is possible and even at greater distances iv seen this done vislauk(SEAN) is a cracking shot with a springer Me not so but with the crow sport iv jelled and love this rifle im quiet confer-dent that you could do even better at bigger distance si you are that good mate .Any one even the worst shot in the world could pick up a pcp and be come a top shot but to shoot a spring rifle needs skill, determination and respect and mos

    Top shot daz, im not an expert on 25 cal hell im not an expert on 22 but i do ok with it and i hate 177 but that 25 dose not half leave a big hole :laugh: never shot a 25 cal before if your at the next meet i may get the chance to nice one mate keep at them if they stay still long enough to shoot them :laugh: atvbmac
