  1. Ripley AR5s Gloss Black Finish Custom Stocks of Sheffield - Grade 3 Thumbhole Stock Calibre .22 Non-Regulated Ripley Silencer "Stubby" Ripley FAC 9" Silencer Flambeau Gun Case The gun is in very good condition, with the usual little marks associated with storing the gun. With it's age, it could do with a service, and hence the price. There are no leaks. Reason for sale is that I cannot appreciate this rifle due to shooting only a couple of times per year. This gun is made to be admired by it's owner and others shooters than understand the quality of this piece. Collection only. £950.00
  2. You said that you aren't on HW45 wages. To be fair I think that the price has increased far beyond it's worth. That said it is an excellent 'little' pistol. If economy is an important factor then you should consider the costs of running a CO2 airgun, the capsules aren't cheap and costs soon start to add up. If I were you I've go for the Webley Alecto (the newest model) that is secondhand. If you're lucky you could find one for £150. The power is relatively high, the trigger is USEABLE (not match!), which results in a great overall pistol. Good luck with your search.
  3. I will also recommend John Bowkett if you do decide to get it tuned.
  4. Definitely, this is the way to go. I had the roughest looking Mk1 you can imagine, which got sent away for John to work his magic on it. It turned out to be the best field gun I owned.
  5. A budget would be helpful. There's no point recommending a Swaro when you've got Hawke money, and equally visa versa.
  6. I'm a firm believer that a short break from shooting does a world of good. Although from your photos I'm sure you were not missed by the locals.
  7. What pellets are you using? I remember my uncle owning a Webley Patriot and finding good pellets that suited the gun in this calibre was hard to source. I suppose things are different now...
