Would be very hard too make a choice like that but I'd say give it a go if it is ur dog then go from there see on the dogs performance and from there judge it on the way it is now and decide how well it will perform bye giving it a chance if it don't make it give too pet home or pts ur choice at the end of the day -
Scary stuff mate same sort of of thing happend too a mate last week was out doing abit of mooching with friends as we were walking back too the car my mates jack russel got on the sent of some thing in the field we were in and run straight across the road bye the time he noitced the dog was gone it had alrdy been run over just shows u some times just shows ya some times it's only a split second and its over

can I ask why u advice too give praise and stroke while the dog is still holding the rabbit I've met a few trainers before and lots of there advice too me had been timing when praising a dog too achieve positive results

Is he testing you my cocker used too try this hold on to it as long as he is not trying too play tug or pull away just have the patience too stand holding it till he eventually lets go then praise not sure why he done it but eventually got him out of it sort he is getting better any way

I used too get a shave cut throat from the barbers could not beat it used too go in once a week when I lived in London now I just use hair clippers beard trimmer thing leaves a little stubble but Iam fine with a little stubble cost far less then Gillette shavers

For me I keep my dogs outside they were inside for a while but I soon began too find that if they done some thing wrong in the house my temper would flare I would become frustrated with them and that temper would affect there willing too work as well last straw for me was when one of my dogs ripped apart a kitchen and I lost the plot and hit it it took along time too rebuild the trust with that dog nearly a full season I've found if the dogs are outside they all have there own space no fighting between any of them or me so for me out side till retiring age then infront of the fire but I say al

I think it's the job mate I have a friend that worked with us for years as a temp farm worker done lots on farms in this area he is big as a bull strong as a ox seen this man lift a half full barrel of oil above he's head best work ethic I've ever seen would proper hard graft at a running pace was hard too keep up with this man when I was younger only thing with him he is a bit dense nicest Man U could meet but prtty dense well he got sick of all the temp work and finnaly got full time work for the council doing the roads work well he did not last long about 2 years bye the time he came back t

Take myne too a butcher friend all I do is skin gut and take the legs off at the joint he takes half but I get steaks burgers and sausages must be the herbs he puts in them but they are far better then any tesco stuff lol

honest post mate, prob for me getting another 2nd dog .My pup ok never going to be like Bryn regards catching rabbits, but Bryn hard act to follow for (any) lurcher really, and my pup seems bit on the sensitve side might be his age 6 months old, or his temp coming through, you got to treat him really with kid gloves ,or its no good. No i think prob its my age 60 now, that maybe i should have finished with Bryn, as working a lurcher (proper) i think you got to fit+ young to give and get the best out of them, not saying you got to be 20 years old lol , but the older you get it does get harder
