    IMO theres feck all wrong with a bit of racing... lure coursing and the likes... if you go to a club and do it...within the rules... Its also good... to watch the dogs on the lure...keeps them fit... Ive got into the whippet racing a little more...since i was sickened with the lurchers accident.... I enjoy watching my dog run.... But she will be out ferreting over the winter and then maybe back doing a bit if racing in the summer... Theres no harm in it... doesnt hurt anybody ....     Made this a while back... along with a few others..... and have since sold or gifted them away... Thought it would be a good idea for a catapult...that wasnt bulky...and could slip into your pocket.... Similar to a full sized slingshot.... only without the handle and an extra finger support.... Hence the 'half a catapult' .... It shoots perfect... and fits your hand a treat... Open to offers for this... its collecting dust.... or swaps... But as rules say 'it needs a price' ....so 15 quid posted?... Will take a whippet puppy collar as swap... or why?... Cheers.

    Just a couple of quick and easy ideas... for homemade catchboxes... Ofcourse... you can go as 'fancy' as you like.... making them out of wood etc.... But theres easier ways.... A simple towel or sheet hung up... would take the sting...out of the shot..... But then youd have ammo all over the floor.... Heres a couple i knocked up in less than 5 mins... probably less...     Theyre still in cages mate... But youve utilised the space well... All these massive runs... with so much 'volume' wasted.... Meaning... A ferret can climb the mesh... stand on its back legs and reach up... but anything out of the ferrets reach is a waste... the 'middle' space in most runs is wasted.... If that makes sense...

    Aye but they don't sit too far out, good for lamping and I think long netting will work. Aye...no dogs.... ferrets and the longnets along the railway + purse nets will work.... Should get a handy bag... but need edwardo with his ferts too....

    Whats the script with jags? ?.. she had them?... I got mine jabbed at 7... then back at 10 for dose 2.... then another at week 12... Something to do with a new lepto jag '4' ... with all these european dogs coming over... new virus' etc .... Can still get them out at week 10... but to steer clear of water...ditches..puddles etc... anywhere a dog can piss...and water carry it... Came in 3 weeks ago... but the new jag is free? ... You can do that everywhere in scotland .....

I've just been right bizzy for a while He's a good lad and is also very helpful with the local spastic community where he lives....provides them with entertainment free of charge....     Went for a walk with ross today.... had the dogs but gutted to leave the pup at home...couple of weeks and she will be out with her new pals ... Anyhow... It was a mile or two walking down the country lanes until we found a field that had been cut.... we letthe dogs have a mooch about... the terrier and the whippet were right in about the bushes and a rabbit or two was moved around... but nothing for the dogs... or atleast nothing run worthy... Wee while along the field the whippet caught a rabbit in the undergrowth... but once she emerged with it...we realised it was a young un'.
