  3. They will all do the trick ... The ones i make have one continuous loop of cord through...works out around 14/15 feet of cord...per carrier..... which is Great in an emergency..... Even towed a lanny with 2 lengths the other day Made this for lab...early on in the year... With 'fancy pheasant carrying' in mind ...
  4. Theres pro's and cons to everything in life... The jills are getting neutered.... Will probably wait til theyre mature though....
  5. How would all the other pups.... be able to be 'booked'... if the guy who has pick... wont pick until 6 weeks?.... Think this all boils down to the seller being honest and telling the interested parties that someone has pick of the litter then after that the picks are on a first come first served basis at whatever age the first choice is done. This is what Hubbs off here did for me. He offered to gift me pick of the litter and said he wouldn't let anyone else view them until I picked mine and if I wanted to wait until they were 8 weeks I could. I pretty much knew the one I wanted from a pho
  6. I couldnt get a hob snipped... all 3 were castrated before i got the jills..... And id rather neuter them.... saves a lot of hassle when im away... Cant get much more hassle free than that....
  7. Meaning...as soon as they 'come of age'... dum dum...
  8. Your not getting a pretty pink one... now thats dirty!...
  9. Got two young jills.... around 6 months old.... Looking to get them neutered/spayed in the near future.... Would you let them have a season first?... Or prior to their first season? .... I had all my hobs done as soon as their balls dropped...which had no ill effect on them?... Will it be the same with the jills? ... Cheers
  10. Im tempted lol I like the look of Bpr thin catty 8mm thick.... i fooking love that catty...Slips in your pocket.... roughly finished... good grip... All from 3 milk cartons... lids and a cillit bang bottle ... just out of curiosity .cud you post a pic of this catty in your hand being stretched as if to shoot ,say a rabbit in the seat ? What you mean mate? ... if you could just get a picture of yourself drawing it back ,as if you were aiming at a rooster or a rabbit in a seat .i was just curious For photographic purposes only ... Funny you shoot a side shooter like that, just wondering
  11. Very new.... 'Made' my own end of last season...from sheet netting.... And was gifted end pins(smithie)..hazel poles (albert64)....wooden pegs(tiercel)...10 yards of netting(the one)...50 yards of netting(jamesmc).. and a loan of the 'from peg to peg' book...(borderscot)... Used them for ferreting...and extremely impressed.... Tried it out... nightime last week.... and got feckall... tried it out the other night...and got 2... I will however be using them for ferreting mainly.... So thanks to everybody who helped me and gave me a nudge.... Your advice doesnt fall on
  12. One on the right... is for a 7months baby.... so have 'gutted' it... meaning ive taken the inner strands if the cord out... which makes whats left... super soft and flexible ...

  19. Theres loads of different carriers... 'v' shaped metal ones... for slipping the neck into... Carriers with big pins on the end.... for puncturing through the hocks of rabbits... And then this idea.... where you make a loop... slip onto the rabbits legs... and the loop self constricts.... the heavier the load... the tighter the hold... Like this...
