Pay for a trainee infantry soldier is 275 per week.... before tax! .... 6 months.... of being treated like a piece of shiit.... .. For about 650 a month...... after tax..... are they forced to join up? Are the fire service?

Lads, sorry but that just sounds like pure jealousy.. So the firemen have been able to secure themselves a comfortable retirement - good luck them, they should be applauded, not pilloried.. Fireman, nurse, soldier, ect. Any person who spends their working live doing one of these shitty/dangerous jobs should be suitably rewarded while doing it and at the end of it.. This whole 'they get more than the others get so they should get less' attitude is wrong though IMO..Not at all mal....But wheb the firemen decide to go on strike.... the soldiers will have to step in.... and will get paid NOTHING f

Soak it in boiled linseed oil mixed 50/50 with mineral spirits....for 2-4 days... and let dry.... remember it needs to be a sealed container of the spirits will evaporate... Finish with a coat of beeswax.... Millions of possible finishes... Engine oil Or add a few drops of wood dye to the soaking mix...
