  2. im away on holiday and left the dogs with the mother in law. cut a long story short, just rang her, the pups in the vets with a suspected broken leg.theyre keeping her in and will know more tomorrow at 11. told them to do whatever they need to do to fix it up they dont need to wait for my permission. anybody had a pup broke its leg before and if so did it go on to run well? if she's finished before she has begun then she will be solely a pet but im hoping its not a broken leg and that if it is, with her being only 15week old that it will fully heal. im absolutley gutted and im a fe
  3. aye i should have left the pup with you bob. check PM mate
  4. That really is pointless cruelty
  5. Id give you £40 the lot but I'm away on holiday in an hour so I'll have a think about it and maybe pick them up when I get back. Cheers Joe ya b*****d wind up!
  6. What does everyone do with their dogs when they're away? Ive just dropped The dogs at the mother in laws with a set if instructions. The labs dieting so don't overfeed her or give her treats. Make sure the pup sleeps in the cage and gets her different food. Feed them at the right times. Loads of stuff. On the way the airport and she rings me, the pups pining for you, the dogs looked hungry so I fed them. I'm dreading coming back to a fat whippet that won't go in the cage and an obese lab! And to top it all off, the b*****d that's looking after my ferrets has put them up for sale! Hah
  7. I was on exercise a couple of years ago, we were all cammed up in the grass. About 2am a couple came past me and started getting it on in the grass next to one of the lads, the sergeant then thought it would be funny to all move at the same time. So 12 bushes got up and moved off. The lad was trying to get his Pants up. It was so funny! If it was me I would have shit myself. When we was in Kenya one of the boys was un accounted for so we had to do a search party, found him in a tribal villiage pissed out of his face and dancing about the trees after taking a 'herbal' Kenyan tea!
  8. Paris Hilton does my head in. Job title- socialite. Tv program- finding a new British best friend Famous for- getting her bangers out and taking it rough Annoying because- she lives off daddy, has no purpose on this earth and people love her because she's a posh twat
  9. Name and shame the messer. I don't have a clue who your on about
  10. Dogs looking good mate. She does look bigger in the photos from [bANNED TEXT] I seen her. I forget how young mine is, she's just turned 15 weeks and I'm thinking to myself, she ain't big enough to retrieve a rabbit but I thought yours was younger. Maybe give it a few more months and you might not be winning them red rosette in those puppy classes!! Only joking mate. Tried feeding the pup a 'varied' diet and it cost me 4 trips to the vets so now I have to stick to a basic dry mix until her stomach sorts itself out which i think is shit for growth and development. Pups retrieving a
  11. You feed the dogs what you can afford. End of. If that's a £10 bag of wagg or a £45 bag of Jwb then so be it! My pup needs a dairy/gluten/wheat free diet so I've just ordered a bag of harringtons £23 for 15kg. If I had the money that most people on here seem to have then I'd buy james wellbeloved at £8.50 for 2kg! My dad feeds his on dr johns and they look brilliant and that's cheap as chips! Mine will be on that soon as they can with meat
  12. Them prices are high? Do you know how much neutering a ferret costs?
  13. Just ordered some aswell for the whippet pup. Had a few stomach problems with her so vet suggested a wheat/gluton/ dairy free food and keep her on that for a while. Looked all over the net and the cheapest was harringtons. Ordered it to a local supplier but won't be able to get it until I'm back in a week or so. Hopefully it will be decent stuff and she will be ok on it. It's meant to be decent but I don't know if id have her on it if she didn't need it, maybe once her stomachs settled down in a few Months I'll change her to something more acquirable like dr johns or redmills.
  14. He's a b*****d ain't he!!!!!
  15. Seen them in afghan, there was one that we kept in our camp. Big softy. I would never trust something I didn't know but over there your heads all over the place and he was like our mascot. in some places the afghans dog were their pride and joy, used to fight them and when the dog was losing the owner would stop the fight to save his dog. That was in Kabul but when we went elsewhere the kutta's there was I'll treated, they had had their ears cut off for fighting and were in a right mess. One we 'had' we called Tyson. He was a right mess, full of scars so had obviously seen his fair
  16. When she didn't retieve over the obstacle I went back to a few straight retrieves and she done them, tried again and she backed off so went back to a few straight ones. I know she's really young but I've just been making things fun like advised. Walking, retrieving, recall etc. I forget how young she is because she's retrieving well, maybe moving on too fast. I've got a small piece of wood she likes retrieving with a strip of rabbit skin attached with a bit of elastic. That's really light so maybe try that tomorrow? I'm away on holiday so the mother in law is having the dogs, she wil
  17. As the title suggests, I thought you had put a post in the wrong section and was going to tell us about a sexual experience with your missus in an ally
  18. Been doing a a bit of retrieve training with the 15wk pup. Got her retrieving a rabbit skin dummy. Thought I'd put a little obstacle in the gateway about 10inches high. Sent her out for the dummy and she jumped the obstacle and steamed for it. Picked it up and ran straight back. As she got a couple of feet away for the obstacle she hesitated and went off to the side like as doesn't want to jump back with the dummy. She goes over it no problem on the way out but doesn't want to come back Over it. any ideas?

  20. Next doors cat took 2 rabbit skins I was curing from my garage a couple of weeks ago. Seen it out my window and though, look at that some silly bugger has left rabbit skins where the cat can get them, then it clicked, the silly bugger was me!
  21. Found two, has anybody used either of these? Harringtons lamb and rice Skinners field and trial? Both similar price. Cheers
  22. There wasn't any wheel marks mate Surprised you get the time to go on here out there with all them men.........
  23. I never thought of how bad it would be to have an animal stolen. My ferrets mean a lot to be, cost me a lot of money ad I've put a great deal of time into them. If somebody took either my dogs or ferrets I don't know what I would do. I thought all the ferrets had been took and I felt pure anger, only after I shouted at myself did they come out from their hiding places amongst the dog food, boxes etc. Little shits aint they. I'll be keeping a close lookout, got an idea but I'll need proof until I act. Patience
