There will be many x's about in Britain. Like you said, how would they prove it. What about the presa canario? I thought they were banned aswell?

Not sure about the others but I done a bit of research on the dogo a while back. The dogo was bred from the cordoba fighting dog which is now extinct. This dog was ferocious and even killed kennel mates etc. Without looking back at the research to be 100% correct I'm sure they bred a few different mastiff types, and larger dogs, boxers etc with the cordoba to form the dogo. Reminds me of a big pitbull to look at. Don't know About the rest. There must have been something to trigger the ban. Afterall I'm sure an Akita, great Dane, staffy etc could do just as much damage as one

Just watched a program about foxes in Siberia being bred for pets. Heres what it said. 2nd generation; aggressiveness to humans starts to disappear. 4th generation; some pups wag tails and approach humans. Also whimper and allow themselves to be carried. 6th; show affection to humans, lick face and are excited to be let out of it's cage. Goes on to say that by the 12th generation the pups ears are floppy until around 3 month whereas a fox cub has erect ears straight away. Don't know how true this is but ffs. People will be using foxes for rabbits soon haha

When I was at school my mates would go the park at nights drinking and up to no good, I'd be walking the dogs (gsd's) grooming them, nails etc and getting an early night for the dog show the next day or agility event. I'd rather have a bunch of lads into lurchers, running their dogs, caring for them, training them etc than he nothing to do and start drugs, drink, robbery. It's something to keep them out of it. I'm not commenting on the pup side of things just merely on the young lads with dogs. If a youngster can care for his dog, train it and work it then in my eyes he is worthy of a

Didn't even see the falconry stall. Didn't see any stalks selling any gear apart from clothes, 1 pigeon shooting stall and 2 dog lead stalls. Rake- eh, if you've got the future show winning pup then why not be a rosette hunter? Or cutest dog haha

What date is the lowther show next year? I think I will be going to as many as I can. Focused on the big ones this year and missed the smaller ones. Edited to add that I thought the dog show was spot on.well ran, good people etc. Thats the only part of the show I enjoyed. But I went to a gamefair and not a dog show. The game fair was shite. Worst one I've ever been- honestly. It's not just £10 entry though is it? It's £20 for me and the missus, £45 for petrol and food while were there. If i knew there was going to be fuk all on offer I would have gave £65 to the greyhound rescue!!

Had dogs in my life since the day I was born. Trained dogs for people when I was at school for a bit of pocket money but I'm new to the whippet/lurcher scene. Now that I've got my dogs I wouldn't change them for anything. Theyre a part of the family and I've worked/ am working hard with them to make sure that they are trained to stay as an asset to me. If they didn't do the job I wanted then they would be pets and I would bring in another. They are a way if life for me and always have been. I'm always thinking of them, new collars, leads, food. Are they getting the best from you etc

I'm thinking of breeding my EU polecats
B.P.R replied to donaldanddaisy's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
This topic has been up loads of times and it's pretty boring tbh. A ferret is a ferret, black, White, sandy or bloody purple- although if you do have a purple one I'm sure you wouldnt be on here you would be sunning it up in the carribean! Every body who knows rake will know that he says he doesn't have eu poleys but he keeps them in a bulletproof greenhouse and their birth cirtificates in picture frames on the wall! The DNA tests are stapled to their ears...... -
I wouldn't take mine out to watch another dog lamp. Jmo

Went today and only thing I enjoyed was the dog show and the Craic. Been the show every year since it started and this year has been the worst. Events co-ordinator can you pass these criticisms on please: sit tight...... Firstly the amount of trade stands at the show could be counted on 1 hand. I went with money in my pocket to buy new leads, collars, dog coats, dummies, knife and whatever else took my fancy. There was 2 stands selling leads etc and they didn't have much so came away with a slip lead. The knife stall 'bladetech' told me at scone he was going but wasnt there? The ferre

Rake Aboot, how much are you selling the eu poleys for? I need something to go ferreting with, standard ferrets just won't do the job? Cash waiting -
Well just drove back into the castle and there was mr Charlie at the entrance. It just stood there in the middle of the road. As I got closer it walked to the side and started eating what looks like a bit of chicken. It was less than 5 foot from the side of the car. By the time I got my Phone out it had walked about 10yards away. Got a picture but not the greatest. Can't post it as I'm on my phone. These foxes ain't shy at all! Anybody fancy bringing a dog up here haha. The guy on the gate said he sees around 5 foxes every night.

B.P.R replied to 19powell90's topic in Countryside Skills, Craft & DIY
Well done mate. Very good initiative! We make suits like this in the army, not exactly the same but similar. Good on you for having a go, some people would criticise one of your balls for Being bigger than the other!! -

It's never the dogs fault, it's always the owner IMO. too many people are set to blame the dog. The owner must know his dog, know when it's not happy and certainly know whether to let it off the lead or not. There are banned breeds in many countries that live happily with children and other animals etc because they have had the right upbringing. Ofcourse there are Many that will disagree but it's my opinion. If you have the police involved then stay legit with whatever contact you have with him as you are right and he doesn't have a leg to stand on. If you don't want the police inv
