Had a phone call this morning to say farmers starting to take down his crop today so had a drive up he had already cut one field by the time I got there. First time He has cut it this early. Just wondering Any been cut around any you lads?

I was going to say order a new one. I asked a while ago for someone to make me a lure machine on here but got no were so just made my own. Why a larger lure?

you can't wait around this time of year they strike hard and fast so you got to be quick but not to quick as I was fishing on Saturday gone and missed to bites by striking early. Was sick as I didn't get another bite for 4 hours

GD Never fished at night for them or new anyone that has but sure there'll be someone somewhere that does. Jonnie I don't know of any fisheries round my way that lets you live bait think it's a thing of the past around here there one lake that don't even let you fish with fresh water dead bait.

I always use a float with a dead bait when I'm fishing for pike. Mackerel sardine probably the best dead baits to use nice and oily.

I'd need more then 2hours lamping time my quick walk out is around 2 hours. I like the look of the new DL lamps you have so if your using one this season let me know how it fairs with the likes of blitz and 210 tracer

I have the dl100 it's a good lamp use it when I can't be arsed to carry a battery and tracer (so use it most the time) beam could be a bit tighter for me but beam goes the distance. Nice light bit of kit and total bargain for the priceYeh I agree mate. The beam may be a touch wide for some but it does suit me so far. Will know more after this coming season. Have you used the 150? I found it too tight but other lads like it like that so each to their own. I have used the 150 only once distance is about the same as the dl100 but your right the beam is just a little too tight. Felt like I wa

No it needs battery. I use tracer 210 with dimmer with a 12v 12ah battery and lasts all night. Go on the deben website and have a look bud. Beam isn't much of the blitz but head of the lamp is a lot smaller
