I recived some bad news early last week that the ground I have permission on is unavabile due to shooting syndicates require more land , and are in a postion to pay for the privilege . I also lost permission on other land at start of season due to farmer land being sold off for houses and road widening measures , so now find my self with out any permission but feel grateful that I have been able to work both permissions for the last 15 years . so this week been knocking on doors in the area and also in about 30mile radius .but no cigar , I can now see how new guys get feed up who can't get p

Flint Any Videos Of Him Running ?
scottish lurcher replied to Kimbo's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Fair law , it its in the same county as me and the dog sees it it gets slipped on, A good hare doesnt start running untill the dogs behind it. To be fair the slip was off his bootlaces and that isnt the fastest saluki by any means.. back in the day dogs would have to be slipped a lot further back than that round my way due to the terrain. I don't know this dog , but doesn't seem to show it to its best due to conditions . but agree seen dogs that appear quick than this but could down to conditions which is difficult to pick up in video . -

Redicilous We are bombing them in Iraq already, do you think it will make a jot of difference if we cross the border which ISIS don't recognise anyway. Like they will now say, 'we didn't mind you bombing us in Iraq, but now you are bombing us in Syria, we will get you' We've had 7 foiled attacks already this year. listen fella they shouldn't of never let them in here as the threat to uk folk so high ,my brother split from his partner and lost his job had to wait ages for any benefits and still homeless yet they are taking in give money houses . Now that's redicilous

Lol someone kills vermin without permission and seems to me they cost the tax payers hundreds of thousands , so it can be police it when in fact the should use there resource keeping public safe from terror acts instead of a advertising they won't be able to cope if there is one , now we know why because they are out watching for lampers .

Lads been down to see pup mate tells me tried the bitting antics we his terrier , and it seems it has put in it place , so going to leave pup there for a few days and see if that helps .
-
Pup just bites when and where ever it feels like ,and yes it's head strong type pup and yes I have told it off . But it just keeps coming back for more , and as there is young kids here I am worried it just snaps at one of them never had such a type of lurcher as this I know the all nip when teething but this is full on snapping . As iam unable to kennel dog due to my dogs living in doors due to dog thief's in area .I have manage to keep at mates kennels for time being . Thanks for everyone's advise !
-
Yeah it proper snapping bites have tried to yelp etc which used work when she was a young pup but lately it has started to properly snap. I have kennel her with my mates terrier .
-
I have never had a lurcher that would just snap at hands fingers ,and yeah iam worried as kids about all the time although supervised all the time with dog . Dog gets loads of exercise every day had few pups ,and to be fair none have ever been as bad as this one for bitting at this age. just hoping it grows out it soon as ,but all my lurchers have been great with kids and very loving with them untill this one ,i am begin to distrust it around kids .

I must admit that she has been easy to train walk great on lead never barks comes to recall etc .but I am starting to get worried as she will lick ur hand one minunte then try to bite and even when told off she will try again to bite now as there is young kids on the go I am very worried with this and never had any probs we any other of my lurchers . Hope for some advise as if this continues I will be putting it to sle
