excellent! i recently had the same with my young lurcher, he's very keen on holes, and marks them without encouragement, as you said that would do more harm than good.. its only a small step but it gave me a positive feeling..

Recently bought a daystate harrier .177 from a mate about a week back, and its just what i needed, up to date i've had 6 woodies, a magpie, and 3 collared dove... Picture of 3 woodies... :whistle:

the litter will be fine outdoors, just make sure theres plenty of bedding, and if you want to be extra safe, a heat lamp will help even more... I no litters that have been born and raised outside and were fine.. all the best.

every type of running dog can make a good all rounder, as long as the blood-line is right... don't rush in and by any lurcher, take your time mate and wait for the right thing, which is from genuine workers.
