This brings back some memories I must say, not long ago I was down by a river, with the dogs, a cold day and the river was slightly inflood and fast flowing, one thing lead to another and my terrier ended up in difficulty, without a thought i did a baywatch dive into the river and frantically rescued the dog, I lost my van keys in the process.Costing me over £250 to sort that out! bad times

I'm really looking forward to the price falling down on the new Diesel subaru, then i'll be happy! Been thinking about purchasing a forester, but with the land been so wet most of the season now-a-days can they cope like some of the jeeps out there, and with the petrol side of things, prefer the diesel motors for obvious reasons

Sounds like a good weekend. You wouldn't dig many a season if you only have one hard dog, in some situations and many earths I know, a hard dog is useless, give me a bayer over 3 hard terriers anyday

Are there any winches or other products on the market that any of you have had experience with in the past That doesn't fix permanently onto your bumper, but it a portable unit, so you can keep it in the motor, And if you get stuck when out, it is more than capable of getting you out of sticky situations. Any info appreciated.
