  6. I was out with the lad who owns the weaton 'staffy-1' posted about on thursday night, I had a look at 3 pups he has kept back bred down from that weaton, and boy, do they look smart... We took the biggest dog out with us for a shine along with my dog and a mates bull x hoping to educate him a little. Although we didn't catch. But the pups are shaping up nicely... I know some of the litter went down london way, some to kendal and one over bridlington way. All the fellas who got them are highly impressed... But from what i have seen from weaton/greyhounds, they have impressed me,taking
  7. That is true, But 37 foxes wasn't accounted for with rifles!!! All within the law, 2 hounds were used to flush foxes, to guns, and lurchers to retrieve and track... Terrier work was also involved, accounting for a good number in order to protect the game birds some keepers have. No rifles involved at all.
  8. Charva is a big strong dog, and i believe he is going okay.... I own the brother, murphy, who is also doing okay.... We'll find out there full potential this season.... Murphy....

  10. Me and my lurcher cover a 7mile bike ride, 3 times a week, then general mooching/walking the other 3 days... Saturday is a rest day for both me and the dog.... Works a treat for muscle build up and stamina....
  11. The season's not far away now and i can't wait to get back at it.... What dogs are you using when the season is upon us- Get some pictures fired up... My 23 month old dog 'murphy' will have alot of work thrown his way... He had an alright first season, so fingers crossed he only improves....
  12. cheers chief- I'm very lucky to be involved with some genuine lads that no alot about the sport, Not alot of young lads get the oppurtunity to get days out often with genuine fella's, i get educated the right way every time i'm out, so with this i'm sure my pup will get some good chances, how he goes- who know's... Roll on september....
  13. Nice types of terriers lads, all the best for the future, a side on picture chief, he was around 8 months when this was taken, I thought he might throw to the heavy side when he was a pup, But he's turned out slighty smaller,

  16. broughton hall gets worse every year, there's the odd stall thats half decent, the rest are piss poor. Shame i didn't no you were going jay, could have sorted you a morning out.

  21. i'm clueless about the type of land around there so cheers, i prefer the bigger land, do you do much round there...
  22. that would be telling .... no seriously mate, i'm not to sure, but it will provide us with some decent ground next season, with decent amounts of quarry. :whistle:
