Jasper mate, looks a sound motor- let me no closer the time when your selling, i'll try raise some money. Thanks for th replys lads, Mick c -sportrak look a bit on the smaller side for me but thanks for mentioning them. Pat88- don't tell me how to drive , you've got yourself a landy and i've been told you don't even like going down slighty muddy tracks, so sssshhh your mouth.
  3. Its good to hear you accepting our points as some lads would just turn round and say f**k off to our advise- Obvisouly there isnt many easy places, but fields with dry stone walls etc are the best places to start a young dog, where rabbits bounce of the walls and struggle to find safety straight away!

What do you lads rate, i'm not talking about £10,000 plus ones as we all no there sound, but for a general work horse, dog motor. what do you rate... Reasonable price range anything under £2500? Been thinking about getting a fourtrak- any suggestions? Help me out lads!
  5. no knocking you mate just a couple of questions... why slip a dog 130 yards away from its quarry especially when 8 month old? surely you want to give the dog confidence on easy runs, where catches will be made. boosting the dogs confidence. each to there own i guess. but your techniques are totally diffrent to mine.
  6. impressive mate. Are you a joiner for a living?
  7. yes you've got it lads- metal pipe, around 1 inch'. Threaded, used a pipe connector for the joint, welded onto the shovel head. simple really- could possibly make a couple more if any lads are intrested for a reasonable price...
  8. Oh don't worry burm mate, i go it alone! if i'm seen with either of them two, my life would be over , constant piss taking for been with 2 gays and the ugliest ones anyone had ever seen.
  9. As things are naughty with the dogs now-a-days i've made myself a 2 piece shovel, a mate has had one for some time, and was impressed with the idea so decided to make myself one. Its to stop any thoughts from the public, instead of carrying a shovel in view to all, everytime i'm out an about and getting noticed, this little design allows me to walk freely and un-concerened, fits lovely into a walkers bag, so with a rucksack on my back, and a terrier on the lead- i'm just an ordinary dog walker!
  10. as the other lads said kane- give it to a mate to run on, or atleast somebody you can trust, that will give the dog a fair chance, giving it plenty of work. Personally i would Not just sell it to any bloke who will dig one a season than advertise the dog at stud for years to come- and class it as a geniune world beater.
  11. Not certain 100% on exactly whats in there make-up. All i care about is what the parents, grand-parents etc were like- and they were bang on for our quarry! Bred from working lurcher's down the line. mainly greyhound and saluki in the make-up...
  12. scooby is an excellent dog- seen him first hand..!! This is his younger brother- a repeat mating from scoobys parents.. i'll be happy if he turns half as good as scoob! Didn't do to bad in his first season- high hopes for next winter!
  13. tell me if i'm worng but i can't understand your post- you say theres no need for bull x's anymore because foxing is banned, so why do you want a dog from 'coursing' stuff, when thats banned?
  14. scooby decided enough was enough- and pulled up.. Only joking- scooby then went on a full speed, turning the deer from left and right causing it all kinds of trouble, until making contact just before the woods edge...
  15. The best thing on the market for terrier-men, without a doubt...
  16. smart looking dog for its age-
  17. Bad news mate- just the way things go in the terrier world But Thats the way it should be dillion- only if every terrier man was the same - if stock fails then none of this selling, or passing on... thats how all the poor dogs have arrived- everybody passing and selling on. All the best for the future-
  18. tell me the location mate- i'll have a walk down and have a look, i'll see if i can find the buck for you..
  19. if you can find one from spot on parents then a Saluki/grey X a wheaton greyhound Diesel has a pup on at the moment of this cross- from 2 very proven dogs- should be a belter for allround use!
  20. thanks for the reply's lads. The young dog is showing good signs, was out today mooching about- found a couple of very good looking earths  - the pup was keen to enter - only wish he was of age. fingers crossed for next season,
