    Revenge

an ex of mine pissed me off to high heaven many years ago. i won't go into the details of what he did, but i was at his house while he was at work & i accidentally discovered he had gone back on a promise he made to me (i do not take broken promises lighty). i walked down to where he was working, kicked seven shades out of him (rather impressive really, considering i'm 5'6" & he was 6'4"). i then returned to his parents house and set about methodically destroying his bedroom. it took about 2 hours, and i was on the phone to my best friend the whole time (he had his own phone line in hi
  3. they're usually about early in the morning, or just as it's starting to get dark. that's when they're close to the surface, or above ground. the one Gyp got was particularly thick, near the surface at about 11 ish, didn't take much for gyp to dig down an inch or two & find it. i've never had to encourage Gyp to dig for them - his sense of smell is phenomenal when it comes to subterranean thingumyjigs! he digs up lumps of flint buried a foot down. moles are no problem
  4. got f*****g hundreds here! give me your address and i'll post you one i'm saving them up to make a nice waistcoat
  5. i still think it's ladys smock. anyone willing to challenge me on that?
  6. crossed wires here! Bob, fastdogz has an ex-track grey, she doesn't want to work him, but all dogs like to stretch their legs every once in a while, even if the only thing to chase is their tail. she's just wondering if she should let him, or if it's not worth the potential risk of doing him in. working dog-related stuff goes under "running dogs & hounds". if we're just talking about our pets, we tend to post here. so we don't clog up the working forums. just for future reference mate.
  7. i should think it'd be like chowing on a gobfull of elastic bands! bugger that! it's out in the garden, the cat can eat it if she wants
  8. mid-morning mole patrol with Gyp retrieved live to hand! he won't bring back rabbits, but he'll retrieve f*****g moles! needless to say, it wasn't live for very long, nasty little b*****d!

"Tools ---> Internet Options ---> General". either type in the address of the page you want as your home page, or if the page you want is on the screen, click "use current"
  11. i got in from work about an hour ago. fed the cat, checked on the kittens, took the dog for a walk. turned on the pc, and decided to cook some grub. after much debate, i plumped for a plate of nice buttered pasta. :tongue4: put the water on to boil, and settled down to read a few posts. chucked the pasta in, read a few more posts. washed up a plate & some cutlery, drained my pasta, then reached into the fridge for my butter. no butter... ah! i left it out on the cupboard, out of the dogs reach, so it would actually spread. i checked the cupboard. nothing. i checked the floor. not a s
  12. More so trying to get her to come when called to. We have tried everything, she does fine inside the house but once outside forget it. I fear her running into the road and becoming roadkill. i had exactly the same problem with my lurcher, buggering off & not coming back when called. i got an electric collar for him, and he's so much better now, he's almost a different dog. one word of warning - don't rush it. let the dog wear the collar for a few days before you turn it on & use it. that way the dog doesn't associate the collar with the shock. with my boy, he wore the collar fo
  13. Olbas Oil. mix it with water in a spray bottle, spray the tops of your fences. cats hate the smell. mum used it to stop her cats ripping everyones binbags up. she sprayed it on her binbags, the cats got as far as the front gate, took one sniff, turned round & came back THL's resident cat expert
  14. i know most people on here dislike cats, but if we're going to get onto fat pets, i thought i'd add my bit. fat cats are a worse problem - i worked at a boarding cattery for 4 years, when i left my mum took over my job. this is a cat that has been boarded at the cattery regularly for the last 4 years. she is grossly overweight, incapable of grooming herself properly, and can barely fit through a cat flap. the owners say that she "chases rabbits round the garden". the cattery owner laughed at them when they told her that! we have trouble getting her to walk! they feed her dry "diet f

  19. handful of small gravel, stick it in & shake it round with some water. i keep a little pile of stones next to the sink, and clean the bottles every few days. covering them works, just don't forget to top the bottles up regularly!
  20. i don't think it's bog bean, they have kinda fuzzy flowers. i reckon they're this - Ladys Smock / Cuckoo Flower Cardamine pratensis do i get another point?
  21. Bit strong that ossie , this guy could be devestated having to get rid ,i know i would be maybe you should find out the reason why he has to get rid 1st before saying anything mate. at least he is trying to get them good working homes by advertising them on here was phrased as a question, mate.
