    Well tried them this evening in my fx crown 500 mm barrel , 35 mm group at 100 yards at 909 FPS , not good compared to H&N 21 gr slugs @ 930 FPS and AA field heavy 18 gr @ 990 FPS . Need to do more testing , but I believe these slugs need faster speed plus longer barrel

    Phil send me your address I will send a few 21gr H&N and I will see how many of the ZAN slugs I have left after the weekend. At the moment H&N slugs are hard to beat , but by all accounts these ZAN slugs are far better

    Ordered 1000 of the new .22 ZAN slugs over the weekend , arrived this morning . Brilliant once again by probably the best slug manufacturer out there . can’t wait to go down to my yard indoor range to zero these in then try them out to 150 yards , see if they are any better than H&N slugs

    960 FPS haven’t had one ZAN slugs pass through yet at any distance from 25 -120 yard

    They are very good but all the rabbits plus the pigeon I shot with the impact last night , had no pass through

    Just shot this rabbit at 97 yards . Look at the expansion with ZAN .25 33gr slug . every other slug I have tried pass straight through

    Ok you get more shots then my 60+ shots with A&M cylinder , but I have never shot more than 15 rabbits in one session. . I just can’t see it shooting any better . Any how nice shooting ??

    Fitted my new ffp west hunter scope to the .25 impact last night . Definitely worked ok with these five last night . These ZAN 33gr slugs seem to fragment on impact , 3 shot @ 94 yard , two shot 125 yard
