  10. Off he goes again blah, blah , blah
  11. John , try AA express or JSB express 7.9gr ,in my HW100kt .177 at 65 yards had a group of about no more than 20mm , these pellets are fantastic in most HW and great in my 97. Last September went out into the field using these pellets ,after spending time testing them in our indoor range , that day I had shot 2 rabbits at 55 yards , dropped them stone dead , with out a kick
  12. No ,not all regs need the cylinder drilling http://xtxair.com/air-arms.php
  13. When I had my ultra from new , it started of at 10.8 rise up to 11.8 then dropped back down to 10.8 ,over 35 shots. Found the sweet spot but the shot count went down to 25 After XTX AIR regged the ultra its now shooting 4 fps spread and getting 55-60 shots from a fill. IMO it made a good gun into one of the best airguns out there A reg will iron out any sweet spots and will give you more shots
  14. Hi James Had my BSA ultra regged by XTX AIR 4 1/2 years ago and its never missed a beat
  15. When I do pellet testing I test at my zero range , then every five yards out to 65 yards , spending 2-3 hours at a time on each gun ( with coffee breaks of course ) Doing it this way you can map out your drop as well and calculate your own BC. Head size can make a big difference .its time consuming and can be expensive but a well worth it at the end of the day, not only that but great fun as well , you all so get to know your gun , scope and pellet in side out .
  16. We have Mary Portas queen of shops and now have Gary C Prince of guns
  17. Hi Gary I just hope for Daystates sake you can help turn it around, it would be sad to see another British air gun company go , IMO I would love to have another Regal, lovely looking gun , nice to shoulder but it would be nice to see a nice blued barrel in stead of the cheap shrouds and for it to work like it should
  18. Its just not this forum but most forums are having a go at Daystate , surely Daystate must know what is being said about them !!
