Free Handed Standing Unsupported
villaman replied to just-A-snap's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Well said. This is sometimes the problem with talking over an internet forum and texts etc - things can be taken the wrong way and quickly deteriorate. Renos, good luck with your shooting mate If you saw my standing shots, you'd think I was epileptic flydamide Like it but you might of just upset mac and mark with that comment -
They can put whatever spin they want on wolf but !!

Free Handed Standing Unsupported

It is very common thing apparently Mac "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" just that mine was and is at the very extreme end, surgery has just stopped it processing further so far. Its all to easy to sit at a lap top or computer and type in how we think you should shoot or to criticize your shooting or any one else,s for that mater but with out knowing personal circumstances or reasons why some just jump to conclusions and think its down to your shooting RESPECT TO YOU FOR TRYING TO PUT THINGS RIGHT AND BUILDING UP YOUR ARMS and as for free standing unsupported shooting its one of the ha -
Si proved it the other day with his gaystate and hw 100 and to my eyes the HW100 got better groups with a gun which cost 50% less !!

I've got a tx the same as yours mark but mines home fettled id never used it for hunting until one day last week, its just been used as my practice gun! basic scope with a fixed parallax at 100yrd.. so it has to be used properly, never used it off the sticks either. i was dropping rabbits at over50m free hand and off the knee its a well built rifle but too feckin heavy for dragging about so it'll be staying at home for practice! I've been out tonight with the recall 100 dropped feral pigeon/crows and rabbits with the lamp when the birds stopped playing but its going ! there are loads of o

Not had a very good start have they ,at least villa haven't lost yet and playing far better football than the last few seasons , you never know we might go straight back up

Most PCP guns are just as good as each other ,whether you pay £350 or £1800 . We all like different guns and good job we do , but when a gun and company have let you down ,it leaves a very bitter taste in your mouth and even worse when you have paid top ££££££££££££££££ for a gun . As you probably know by now i have not got a good word to say about their guns or as a company and i will still stand by my statement and say, they are overrated and over priced , that's my opinion and many other too

Zero Ranges For Sub 12Ft Lb And Fac Air.
villaman replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Same as above -
Well tried a wolf today of a bipod and yes nice to shoot the switch is nice , i call it a switch and not a trigger because that is what it is . It was a older model and the bolt is very nice to pull out but pushing the last 15mm in came very ,very stiff . , Picked it up and tried to shoot it off the knee ,my god the thing is heavy and not that well balanced for me . the owner said the worse thing about it , is the s**t mags ,his words not mine . Apparently daystate are tell rfd's now to tell customers not to try and reload a pellet when shooting at upwards angle because of the pellet droppi

Zero Ranges For Sub 12Ft Lb And Fac Air.
villaman replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
If I remember rightly, the guy on "Ted`s Holdover" rates the high powered air rifles poor in the accuracy stakes the higher the power/ less the consistency. Without realising it Phil the figures used in the magazine article will give 28.6 ft/lbs in .22 cal and would prove very consistent for you Personally I would go for .177 in fac hovering between 18 to 21 ft/lbs but I feel no need to as 11.5 "ish" does the job well. Good little debate, put the replies in lads, it`s still raining.
