    Concrete every time mate, easy to clean and dosnt hold the stench of piss.

    Personally mate I use the striker, its got a good white beam and gives me the length of beam that I require,It's also a really good size easily handled and concealed. Used with a 14amp lithium battery it serves me well.

    My father kept and bred greyhounds,my grandfather and uncle kept and worked ferrets and lurchers and through my own curiousity I was involved with them all and looking back all those years i couldn't have asked for a better start. I now have a grandson at the age of 4 he's not been forced into taking an interest in the dogs and ferrets he's just took to it like a duck to water,its just a shame the laws have changed so that he's gonna miss out on the daytime hares, deer, and fox that was part of my every day life. What's better for the boy LURCHERS or LOOTING.

    That's it mate stick with the confidence building on yours and the dogs part,basic obedience training and recall should be the priority at the moment, prey drive will come with confidence and age, atb Brambles

    no offence brambels mate but if me hawk got hen pheasant while on her brood mate id gather the chicks up take them home rear on then kill and add to freezer mate as for the hares mate me dogs then not hare dogs and if they were now and it wasnt banned id still say the same mate filling the freezer to me is all that matters and before the ban all legal quarry was hunted to the best of my dogs ability my dogs are not pets pall and sentiment dont help feed them or me birds ive got a mini zoo here mate its like animal ark so all fresh meat is soon eaten

    So would you agree with the killing of summertime hares preban,I've seen plenty dogs kill hares in summertime bit come winter they they couldnt get f***in close to them so were they good dogs, would you fly your hawk at a female pheasant or partridge at this time of year when she's probably got a brood under her wing ,or would that come under hunter gathering or plain stupidity

    I agree September is a good start for the season,anyone going for serious kills through the summer months should be ashamed,as I've said before no one rates a summertime dog!!

    Had them for about thirty odd year I've all the faith I'm ever likly to have mate. Keep blowing your own trumpet on hear mate and some smart arse will have them out your kennel just to check how good they are for themselves.
