I agree about bringing pups on and young dogs, when I say give things a chance I mean to mature and grow a bit of muscle and make the quarry worthy of being caught. Anyone seriously looking for kills at this time of year except for bringing on pups and young dogs should be f***ING ashamed of themselves, that's why I think there are so many shit lurchers about nobody rates a summertime dog!!!

It happened to me last Sept,dog took the large rabbit through an open gate onto the stubble,after a couple of bends she connected with her quarry,she retrieved it and also picked up a couple of rabbits on the way bac to the car. Checked dog all over before kennelling for the night,next morning bitches eye looked deflated,turns out it was punctured just off centre of the pupil, had her eyelid stitched closed to encourage blood vessels to travel in to the wound,after 3 weeks stitches were removed, eye had healed really well, now only left with a small grey scar on the eye.

Had running dogs all my days and always will along with ferrets an air rifles, the buzz is still as strong as it was when i was about 6, infact they'll probably find me dead on someones land with a pair of lurchers and a bag of fur and feather. -
No mate everyone so far seems to have been pretty genuine,glad to hear the pups doing well, and he's happy with her,had a lot of feed back on other pups aswell and everyone is delighted. Pups have just turned 8 wks and looking better every day. Still a couple remaining.

I know I may have used a few harsh words but I felt like id been taken for a fool and my good nature abused. These pups could have been cancelled at anytime no need to wait until the very last kick ,makes you feel like someone's just been taking the piss for weeks. If that's the way some people are they've certainly changed my opinion of why they use a site like this.

Cheers Asha, you know me I treat those dogs better than my old lady ,lol, but I put a lot into them especially when I bred a pup for myself, some GENUINE dog person cold already have got their pup if it hadn't been for those F*CKERS!!

I've just readvertised 3 dog pups on the for sale section due to these ARSEHOLES.I held pups back for them,(they picked the pups themselves) over a 4 week period and about 60 emails and calls regardingthe pups well being, on the day of pick up, we don't want them!!! I could have choked some c**t, I had told a few other people interested in these pups that they were gone and now they are still here. I think TIMEWASTERS should be named and shamed like peado's and rapists because their just as F**KING low. That's my rant over anyone any thoughts???? By the way I sold pups and discussed lurchers

Hi folks, I've advertised my litter of 3/4 greyhound 1/4 beardie collie x greyhound whippet saluki pups on this forum over the last couple of weeks and had a lot of interest, I've now have 3 dog pups left due to TIMEWASTERS, I held 2 pups back for these people. Over a 4 week period and about 60 emails and calls regarding the pups well being on the day of pick up we don't want them, all I can say is ARSEHOLES!!! There's a black an white, fawn an white,and a black,all very good lookin pups. Anyone interested pm me for pics and details, please look back at previous ads for more info. Regards Br

I've bred a litter of 3/4 g/hound 1/4 beardie collie (dam) cross g/hound whippet saluki pups,both parents24-25tts and of genuine working ability,dam black and broken coated sire brindle and white smooth coated,there are still a couple remaining of both sexes,pm me for more info and pics,or call 07766237843, if they are of any interest to you,im in sw scotland,pups are 4 1/2 wks at the moment cheers for reading

I think its a bit of a slap in the f*****g chops when you arrive at some of these shows which are arranged well in advance only to discover the judge is an excuse for a judge,and even I can pick the winning dog because I know what type he or his mates prefer!!

I attended a show recently and in my opinion the judge in the lurcher ring would have been better at judging a Greggs Pastie,because I just couldn't see what qualified him to be judging pet rats let alone lurchers

I LIKED a dog that went straight at them with all intent in bringing them down as quickly as possible. A dog that went out to them quickly and then decided to tuck in behind and run the deer either waiting for a error on behalf of the deer or a fence is pain in the arse
