This is my first ferretting trip this season,and,I was waiting for my mate to come round,and,he was late.....so we didn't get there till midday.
I was doing a hedge line(all hawthorn)of about 50yds to start with.It was riddled with holes,and,as usual it was murder to net,but,with a pair of seccateurs I finished netting up in just over an hour.My mate was on the other side of the hedge,and,as I popped the two poley jills in,I gave him the thumbs up.The adrenalin was pumping as always,and we had to wait just 5mins before the first net bulged and tore off out to the length of the cords,I wa
