    Definitely VETS mate,he is 91 yrs old in dog yrs.He will get severely dehydrated and you may even lose him if your not careful.The vet will give him an injection to help ease the stomach,and,he will need to give him a good look over too.................................get down there first thing.................martin.

    Two things ................first was out with the lamp,and,a crashing came from a hedge that ran down a banking towards me,and,was coming very fast and very loud....all of a sudden a huge boar badger came crashing out of the end of the hedge,I shit my self till I realised what it was................second,I was out with the dog just for a walk,it was about 2230hrs and pitch black.I usually have my lamp with me when I take the dogs out,but,I had forgotten to bring it.     'JASPERS' down here in Somerset too!!..........I used to dig the nests out for the grubs,for fishing matches,but,they are mostly banned nowadays.I could get a £5 for a small nest on a match day,so I did make quite a bit of money on the side.We got to a point that we had to drive between 5 & 10miles to actually find any wasps,believe it or not

    I thought you might like to hear what 'Ula' my Whippet pup has just got up to,so,here goes.....She found a tube of super glue(it was at the back of my desk)and,she gave it to my Jack Russel,that decided it was worth a chew!!!.........She had it all over her teeth and all over her dew claws,and,the dew claws were causing her some distress,as she was chewing at them with some gusto.....to the pouint that I had to put a pair of socks on her.She did not like that one bit and was walking about like a german soldier(goose step).Luckily 'Ula' didn't get any on herself,but,she was definitely the insti

    What you need to do if you get more permission to shoot on,is........call your FAO and,have him/her inspect the land,and,if it is suitable he should allow you to have it put on your licence.

    Here is my girl 'Ula' she is 6 months old and extremely keen,and,she doesn't feel the cold like some people seem to think.I took her ferreting yesterday for the first time,and,she was keen as f**k.I can't reccomend them high enough,and,Mike is a right nice chap to boot.     I'm back to work on Friday,so thought I better get a few trips out this week while I could.I had a young lad that wanted to come out for a trip,he had his own ferrets and wants some work for them.I had a few buries in mind to do,so we headed off for the old pig farm,no pigs nowadays just a few sheep and a stables on the land.We arrived,and,I decided to have a go at a very difficult blackthorn hedge,so we spent about 1 1/2 hours netting up.We entered a couple of ferts,and 2-3seconds later a rabbit bolted and slipped the net.That was the last action we got from that bury,which was amazing to me

    Hi Chucky,here is my rimmy.....a Browning 'A' bolt.................. This pic is before I had the barrel shortened by 4"............. I don't normally take pics of dead foxes,but,the landowner wanted to see them.I can safely say that I have never had a fox run on after shooting it with my rimfire,and,I have shot an awful lot of foxes. But,I do only take head shots and normally no further out than 50 yds,so,get your fox calling up to scratch and you will be well away...........martin.

    I would agree with Stubby,but,one other thing ....when you are putting the ferts in are you putting them in at one end or are you dropping them randomly around the bury??? Because if you put them in at one end then they should be driven away from that direction towards the other end,resulting in more trying to flee the bury for the surrounding countryside.IMO.................martin......good luck
