  1. Well thats it, Im knocking lamping on the head ,I sold my lamp last week to a local lad who is just starting out. Iv got my pup up for sale. The little bit of permission i have is not worth running a pup on for. Last time I went out I saw a fox and a hare on the land, cant run them! who know whos watching? Iv got too much to lose if I did or if I stray into the next and someone sees me. Its a sad state of affairs but things are hotting up in this country for us. To those lads who say f**k it and keep going, good luck to you to those lads just starting out keep it local and don't get gre

  4. Due to a change in circumstances im selling my lamping gear. Lazerlite LA10 with amber pop out filter. And a Deben 20 amp/hour shoulder pack battery, Iv had the lamp for a couple of seasons, works perfect. Battery is new this season only been out 4 or 5 times. still got boxes All this cost about £190 ill take £100 pick up only Also got a lamping pup for sale in livestock section.
  5. Sire is 27" dam about 25", I was hoping for somewhere round that. Im interested in a swap for a terrier pup.
  6. Due to a change in circumstances, I can no longer run this pup on. He is 5 months old, lurcher to lurcher bred out of 2 excellent local lamping dogs. He is a very smart pup and responding to training well. He sits on command and his recall is fairly good the ground work for retreiving is also there. I have put alot of time into this pup. He is quiet in the kennel, but I suspect he will whine if he is kennelled on his own. £150

  13. Does anyone on here run a first cross bull whippet? It would be mint if someone could put a picture up, im not really bothered about anything other than genuine first crosses, Any info welcome. Cheers Dave.
  14. They dont have to be fighters, my mate took a pair of terrier pups to a vet to have them jabbed they were docked and he had no paperwork. The vet first off refused to jab the pups them threatened to report my mate. Dont forget people have had visits after taking marked up dogs to shows during the summer. If the lad knows a decent vet then by all means get the dog down in my experiance a lot of vets are robbing b*****ds.
  15. ? because its easyer to lamp and run a hare in the day than it is during the night ? isnt everything, ? Too true mate.

  18. Out of interest and because I purchased a Webley & Scott Bolt action .410 yesterday What sort of range do you think I could realistically shoot rabbits using fourlong #5 ? This is my second .410, the first I think I put 5 cartridges through and never used it but have always regretted not really testing it in the field (hence my exploits now). I've under slung a lamp on the barrel and have a few Fourlong left from my last .410 and plan a lamping trip. I have a stack of 1940's 2" Eley paper case .410 cartridges here as well, are 2" any good for the rabbits? If so, again whats a prac
