  1. The picture looks like a ped whippet not a first cross beddy/whippet (and its a dog) He says she work work above or below ground, lamped rabbits and caught hares. He recons he dug to her 30 or 40 times, Im not calling the bloke a liar but its hard to believe a 15" bitch could do all that.
  2. Has anyone read this article about a bedlington cross? It must be a wind up, perhaps ment for the April edition?

    New Knife

Why do you have nice(expensive) knives you don't or won't use? spending £200 on something that looks nice makes less sense than spending £20 on something im going to get lots of use out of.

    New Knife

I hate opinels, they rust and seem to be made from margerine not steel. If you like them fair play to you but i would'nt have another. And they have a weak build they feel like they are going to snap and they rust and they are gay. I dont like them at all. I personally feel that this EKA was well worth the money.

    New Knife

425M-12C27 Both are very similar to 440A. 425M (.5% carbon) is used by Buck knives. 12C27 (.6% carbon) is a Scandanavian steel used often in Finish puukkos and Norwegian knives. 12C27 is said to perform very well when carefully heat treated, due to its high purity. When done right, it may be a slighter better choice than 440A and its ilk. AUS-6- AUS-8- AUS-10 (aka 6A 8A 10A) Japanese stainless steels, roughly comparable in carbon content to 440A (AUS-6, .65% carbon) and 440B (AUS-8, .75% carbon) and 440C (AUS-10, 1.1% carbon). AUS-6 is used by Al Mar, and is a competitor to low-e

    New Knife

Well i found my new knife..... It's made by EKA in Sweden, I was looking through the countrymans and saw Moonraker accesories advert, it said 12C27 stainless so i ordered one, Tony (nice chap) rang me back and said sorry they are AUS 8 stainless, I thought i would get one anyway considering the price, £19.95 free postage. Look what comes in the box....... Is it me or is that alot of stuff for less than £20? Im really pleased with the knife, its razor sharpe and comfortable to hold, they also do it in hi-viz orange I dont know much about Aus 8 except there are some very exp
  9. If its got a mummy and daddy isnt it a little girl? you might hurt her feelings calling her a bitch. Are you going to work the little girl dog?
  10. Spot on, as long as the dog is safe and warm hopfully in a cage it will be fine and settle in a few days.
  11. Would you not be better putting a good lamping dog over her? Perhaps a good collie X if thats what floats your boat. 1st cross would be sluggish compared to a pure grey.
  12. How much do you want for her?
  13. SA37? Whats that? Just googled it.... Is it really necessary?

  15. Whats your preffered feeding for a pup of say 8 weeks (when most people pick up a pup) To give them the best start? I like them Webbox sausages and milk for the first week because they seem to take no digesting, Then onto minced chicken or beef boiled up (sometimes raw) sometimes with chopped veg sometimes with out and mixed with some dry complete stuff. I also feed lumps of flesh occasionally. Im not saying this is the proper way but it seems to work for pups iv had, What do you feed?
  16. I know the correct name for your dog, a BLACK AND TAN terrier, A mate bumped into a woman walking a Labradoodle the other day and she told him she paid £400 for it, He said thats an expensive mongrel, she got offended and said its a pedigree, because both its parents were
