is wheaton dog any good on the job I would guess that before the ban a dog like this could have killed a fox at 10 months.

These are my two...... Lurcher is a first cross Wheaton greyhound and the other is Bonnie who i got off a fella on here a couple of weeks back She is a belting dog not long off the track, i pleasant supprise. I plan on breeding later on this year, not for money purley because i want a pup What do you think??

I always thought one of the reasons people used beddys was because they are more mute than other types of terrier? The one i had was very quiet took a lot to make him bark or whine. or is that a load of boolocks?

Tell you what mate ill let this one go you see if you can catch it. I've been trying to catch one for the last two months, tryed a dead rabbit and caught one straight away. When I went to get it out it hopped up and flew right over my shoulder leaving me clutching at air. Doh! haven't had a sniff since. Iv done that. I got a call bird off a mate caught one the next day and whilst trying to feed call bird accidentally let it go... One in one out D'OH

Get some pictures of your dogs up HUNTER_FROM_RUSSIA I think These Russian greyhounds are a different dog from what we have here. Im sure they look the same!!! He has said English dogs are faster and that must be at the expense of stamina and strengh. I think the Russian dogs Must be closer to the greyhound of old the kind that pulled red stags and ran hares down not these dogs we have that do half a lap and put their body warmers back on... Thats why we cross dogs because pure greyhounds are no longer suitable for what we need But they are a good place to start. Just my thoughts on it

i agree they arnt the fastest. but its swings and roundabouts. if you lose at one end you gain at the other Ozzy has never been laid up since i got him. and that includes him being hit by a mondao how many lurchers are as hardy as a good working dog should be. able to work week in week out year in year out BUILT TO PULL A CART FAST ENOUGH TO CATCH A RABBIT. Bulletproof is how my mate describes mine.
