  2. Well its happened to me again. Iv lost another up and coming dog. My Wheaten whippet cross broke his neck tonight chasing a rabbit. Im absolutly gutted. I went for a walk around my mates permission with the lurcher(who decided he was more of a spaniel) and the 410s, He put a rabbit out of cover and ran it in to a burrow under a dry stone wall. But he didnt stop. He was only 7 or 8 months and i know its easy to say now but i really think he was something special, but now i'll never know. I think its true that the good ones die young well definatey the ones i get attached to. RIP Jack l
  3. Its not all its cracked up to be, I have to crawl around sub floors looking for proofing defects/ broken soil and vent pipe bases. Or spend time in cockroach/flea or bedbug infested hovels or do wasp nests/insect treatments with horrible chemicals in red hot PPE. Iv had to have jabbs against all manor of ailments that quite frankly scare me if i think about it. I was like you once thinking it sounded spot on now iv done it for several years its just a job like any other.

  5. The jill is unaffected though.
  6. Right im fairly sure i have a problem with my kits, They are roughthly 3 or 4 weeks old. They seem perfectly healthy and are growing well but they have really thin whispy fur. The kits skin looks healthy, its pink not dry or anything and the jill is unaffected They are in clean hay and the jill is fed whole carcases, They grew normal fur to start with and started changing colour from white to polecat colours then they went bald. I have fed the mother probably 1 raw egg a week since she had them, I think this might be the cause Iv read feeding eggs excessivly can cause fur loss in ferre
