  7. I think that is a very big BUT there John There is a simple reason why we have not had a legal spring fox trap in England and Wales for 51 years .... I think DEFRA have been over hasty in 'approving' this trap without trials in the UK on the target animal in the environment in which it will be used. Recent spring trap 'approvals' all seem to carry a common thread amongst them ... but it will be their own undoing. Mark my words! OTC

  12. Here you go Micky This is the Taylor Fur Getter trap I had one once but I traded it for something else a long time ago The bottom piece is an article from the Gamekeeper & Countryside magazine about the trap OTC

  17. Brass wire is best to make your own if it's rabbit snares that you're making PM john b on here, or Trapworks or Woodga - they will help you out OTC
  18. does it not go all thick & syrupy as its got loads of sugar in it ? Just try it Kay - you will love it! OTC
  19. Try cooking a gammon joint in 2 litres of coke - same way as you would usually boil it up on the stove I was amazed at the result! OTC
  20. The old timer rabbit snarers all used elder pegs on their snares - it is easy to work when green, and is very lightweight and strong when dry OTC
